You haven't been forgotten.
I'll put together an initial email attack this week or next.

Here's a fairy-tale to read while you're waiting.

For those attending this year's GenCon, I wanted to post the address for the Red Eye Cafe.  It's in downtown Indy.  Can be easily reached by foot from almost all downtown hotels.  Food is fantastic and cheap.  Badmike considers their bacon cheeseburger to be one of the best he's ever had (that's a lot of bacon cheesburgers).

The address is:  250 South Meridan St.  This is where myself, Killjoy, Badmike, and KingofPain will most likely be having breakfast during GenCon, so please have breakfast with us.  As to the time we have breakfast, that is whenever Alan and I can get the two Texans out of bed.

The Red Eye Cafe is open 24 hrs.

Blackmoor,

For GenCon purposes, yes everything is open 24 hrs a day.  Also, anyone speaking Canadian French will be ignored 24 hrs a day.

Says the two twits that were late the first day of the con.  Tell ya what....Thursday morning when the doors open to the dealer hall you and Martin meet me at Crazy Egor's booth.  I'll show you all of the cool stuff I snagged while I was waiting for you to show up.

I believe we were on time.  How can you forget standing (and sweating) in the hall waiting for the doors to open?

Land sakes alive, I really hope I can attend this year. It'd be my first, but my group is going, I just hope my business takes off so that I can scrape the funds together and attend.

Busman, do you mean your own business? In that case:

Trip to Indy: Business expense
Tickets to Gencon: Business expense
Lodging: Business expense
Meals (including bacon cheesburgers): Business expense
Every single gaming item purchased (only if you have a online business selling same or if you intend to sell for profit): Business expense

The entire trip was a huge write off for me last year....just like it'll be this year.  Unfortunately, it would help if I ever actually MADE money in a year so I would have some reason to actually write something off...

HA! I wish. Yeah, my own. But I'm in an S-Corp with 6 other major/minor holders. I could probably write off a bunch of it, but that still means putting the money up front and then getting it back next year, and it's cash in hand that is the concern right now.

All of the above should have just received two emails from me with further instructions.
There will be more of course.

Rabbit_67?   Has been a member for almost a year and not one single post.  Must be shy.  :)
