Thank you -- I haven't pruned that page in some time, but will do so shortly.  Appreciate the help!

For some reason the Class 4 & 5 Rares Currently on eBay thread keeps showing that new posts are available although there isn't one.

This happens to me occasionally. I just click on the "Marked Topics read" phrase when I am viewing all the Classifieds topics/threads.  It may take you a minute to find it.  It will change to "All topics have been read" once you click on it.   8)

Thanks for pointing this out.  It's a bothersome bug that occurs when I remove an auction that you haven't seen yet.  I was pretty sure I had this fixed, but I guess not.

I'm unfortunately completely underwater in RL for the next several weeks, so it may be a while until I get to to it.  It's on the to-do list, however.

In the meantime, you should be able to mark it read by selecting the "Mark forums read" link on the main page.  Hopefully.  :)

Hi Scott---

Do you have any plans to build a mobile interface for the forums and/or do you have the ability to tweak the presentation of the site in mobile devices?

I ask because I find myself reading the forums more and more on my Kindle (using Dolphin browser HD 8.5.1), and I regularly have to pogostick between threads and username profiles because they are  in such close proximity in the UI.

Anything you can do to tweak that mobile UX or to move the thread author links away from the  the thread title links would be a welcome improvement.

Thanks for listening, as always! =)

Have you tried ForumRunner?  Forum Runner - vBulletin, phpBB, XenForo, and myBB Forum Reader on the App Store on iTunes

If that doesn't improve the experience, it should be possible to screen out / diminish / move the thread author links that are causing a problem on mobile.  Let me know and I'll put it on the to-do list.

It looks like the Kindle/Android version isn't very good, per the reviews. Is anyone using ForumRunner on the Kindle HD with good results?

Ok, sounds like a plan. Thanks!

Hi Foul,

ForumRunner used to work quite well on my iPhone; however, about a year or so ago, whenever I tried to use it, the application would say the forum generated an error and I could not connect.  After this ForumRunner connection error, I found I could not connect to the regular forums from my home PCs and would receive a 503 error.  This temporary IP ban would last for about three days after which time, I could reconnect from my home PCs.  The forums were not down as I could switch to cellular and connect via a web browser or I could connect through my office Internet connection.

I read Grodog's last post in the thread and tried it again this weekend with no joy; 503 error greets me when I visit now from home. :(

I'm not sure if anyone else is seeing this behavior, but I thought I would mention it.  I'm still getting my Acaeum fix from the office so no big deal. :)  Please let me know, if you need an IP guinea pig for further testing.

Thanks

Hmmm.  Should be fixed now -- give it a spin.
