Thanks all for the excellent time and to Rob, Blackmoor and others for the feedback on kickstarter offers. FGG is making this event our annual meeting place. Speaking for all 7 of us (plus the future CEO, my 10 year old daughter Jillian), we had a great time with great people, and will get registered back up as soon as Doug posts next years registration.

I can't tell you how cool it is to have FGG attend NTRPG con in an official capacity. It really makes us feel that someone out there is acknowledging the hard work we have put into making NorTexCon a destination for old school gamers. We loved meeting everyone at Frog God and they are truly a group of dedicated gamers. Jillian is a sweetheart, too, and I was already trying to get in good with her by bringing her soft drinks when she was at the gaming table!

Tremendous con; best yet despite horrific storms and a very unaccommodating venue. Will be writing full report within the next 18 hours and will post it then.

NTRPGCon--you did a grand job, every single one of you.

PS Does anybody know if the celebrity game on Thurs is available to be viewed anywhere? I think they were live streaming during. That was the most fun I have had in several years. Sandy Peterson is a madman, and I mean that in the best way.

Tim thanks to you, Frank, Jim and the rest for attending the con. It wouldn't be the event it is without the support of the legends of the game.

I guess it's no secret now that Doug and I are going to look at alternate sites for the 5th annual con next year. The venue (although located in a good spot) was just not up to hosting a convention of 150+ attendees. Honestly we've already outgrown the site (and I don't think they had any idea of how to handle a convention of our size) and will find a bigger and more experienced venue for next year's fun and games.

Tim I believe David Rhea is going to post the Charity Game and seminars at a streaming YouTube site in the next week or so, we'll post here when we get an address.

For those of us unlucky to be able to attend NTRPGcon, were there any modules from the con that will be sold as in previous years?

For example, any of the Eldritch Ent. modules? or re-prints?

Thanks for the Live Stream, guys. I wasn't able to attend the Con, but I was able to watch most of the Artists' panel with Diesel (DSL), Jennell Jaquays, Jeff Dee, Erol Otus and Jason Braun. Interesting stuff. Diesel made a nice comment about learning his trade from working in the "TSR bullpen".

Plus, apparently Chris Holmes (son of J Eric Holmes) was at the Con as well and played in an EPT game.

wow i could not have had a better time. Doug & Mike did a fantastic job. i played in three great games, the quality of the play was high and the guests of honor were wonderful ( i got to spend hours with Sandy Petersen and Steve Marsh and have long conversations with several other luminaries). catching up with numerous acaeumites was a lot of fun as well as meeting others for the first time, including Doug. Just a 10 out of 10 experience and I'm already looking forward to next year. Thanks guys!!

In past years, Doug and I have made available digest-sized reprints of my adventures produced for my previous company (i.e., tax entity) Celtic Studios. This enabled NTRPGC and I to make a little, and for me to expose more folks to how I like to do things. When I started, I was an apostle; now I have a company with three partners.

Doug understands, and fully supports, my devotion to Eldritch. What I have promised is that if I don't have a brand-new adventure to pimp at NorTex I will bring a work-in-progress for some advanced play-testing. I think that next year I will run three, four-hour games, instead of the two sixes I did this time. That way, I can do the above on two of them, and maybe do what I call an extemp adventure on Sat. night.

I certainly cannot speak for any of the other adventure writers. I responded because you referenced us by name. We still have a limited number of the ones we printed for GaryCon. I shipped a dozen each prior; mine sold out because we are scrapping that cover. Whatever might have been left will be on Doug's site, I think.

We have quite a good selection of NTRPG con digest prints available. They will be offered Saturday at 1201 am at the RPG Marketplace site, if Doug cannot get them up in time we will let you know. There are plenty of copies for everyone who wants one so we wont limit the amounts. Below is what we have:

Nice pics King...

Circus Maximus has grown on me the last few years.
This year I was able to make the finals with two other Green Faction members out of a field of ten chariots.

Right after the final turn, after having taken three attacks from the same team before the final turn; I attacked the team back, which was then in third place - chariot to chariot.
Both chariots took serious damage and I failed my save, which caused my chariot to flip.
My chariot landed on the other teams horses; killing them immediately; which ended that teams race.
My team of horses were the fastest in the race, and they sped through the final stretch dragging my half dead rider across the line for third place.
One of my fellow Green Faction members placed first, His was the ONLY chariot to actually finish the race as the second and third place finishers were both dragged across.

Our thanks to our third faction member: her aggressive chariot bashing and lashings early in the race damaged at least half the rest of the chariots and took a couple of them out before her team succumbed to a death roll.
