well mike what you said there about new fanbase. i took my oldest daughter to go watch it - she hates star trek and was grumbling all week about going..she came out and immensely enjoyed it. she also liked the bones character and thought the kirk guy was cute.

but hey it was good stuff either way. i like ALL of the other star trek series and films....though i liked the borg film the most truth be told (first contact)....

i look forward as mike mentioned there, to them doing a few more films and really having a go at some very cool stories.
