Oh, okay.  At first I was wondering what the heck you were thinking.  Didn't realize there had been a BIN.  How much was it?

He posted in this very thread one page back on the subject of his recent buy.

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Nifty buy I have to ask, why?  I've seen people selling the mini fiend folio as well and just don't understand why TSR (or anyone for that matter) would take the time to produce small version.  Were they done as promotional items (because I don't see them being practical)?

They were done by 21st century games about 7 or 9 years ago IRRC.  You can actually read them and they are all true to the origianl with maps, handouts and other stuff.

Why did they do them?  Who knows!  Seemed like a good idea at the time :)

Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games!!

If you are going to start questioning "why" TSR did something I would start with something a bit more questionable.  Why cross stitch patterns?  Why wg7?  Why spellfire?

The mini items produced were at least copies of items that are classics.

Now I know I am not the only one watching that nice looking Boot Hill 1st print, with a little over two days to go. :D

Had some communications with the seller - really nice and helpful.

Read the sellers explanation of where the missing pages are likely to be now.  8)

Man, the ol' site has been around for a while now ...

Not the right thread for this, but...

You can still change your username whenever you want, via your Profile.
