We used to play APBA basball, which was a competitor of Stratomatic, through the hot summer months of the 70s. We'd each pick a team and play 100 game seasons against the rest of the league....I always picked the Rangers and my brother Rob would pick the Pirates. We'd rope in other kids in the neighborhood (some guy would always want to play the Yankees, front running bastard) to either play their own team or play against us in our quest for the championship. Great for the days of 100 degree temperatures when we would play entire weekend series of games in one day. Still have my season cards for 75-81 around here somewhere, along with some historical teams like the '27 Yankees, and our stat books from those years. Once everything become computerized (sort of like D&D going online) it really killed the game. APBA basball was more for the casual fan if I remember; Stratomatic was for the stats geek and was much more accurate but seemed to me games took longer. Mike B.

The spell must be cast out of doors within 200" of a salt water body. All the sharks are neutral and cannot be controlled with this spell although the whirlwind can be influenced by the caster. The whirlwind's center will vary in its course by up to 2".Creatures within the area of effect will take damage from the winds at 1d4 per round and will incur a 3% chance of being struck per round by a shark for every shark within the Sharknado. If a creature within the Sharknado is struck by a shark, the individual will take 1d6 damage plus have a 30% chance of incurring a shark bite for an additional 1d10 damage. Visibility for creatures within the Sharknado will be limited to 50% and all invisible creatures will be rendered visible. At the end of the spell, the sharks will fall from the sky and die within one round.The material components of this spell are a tiny fan and a small (not necessarily lit) candle.

I open it up, and he used an empty egg carton, an empty Ritz cracker box, and a plastic clamshell that was used to hold banana nut muffins. Did I mention the inside of the clamshell was covered in muffin funk? Because it was. OK, I send the seller a message explaining my problem with his packaging style and charging me almost double on shipping fees. Long story short, he tells me to fuck off. OK, I open an eBay complaint and wait for justice. Nope. Ebay tells me he's totally allowed to do that and closes my case. I appeal! Surely somebody else thinks double shipping charges are against the rules! Wait, they are! Here: Selling practices policy And let me sum up QUOTE "It's against our rules to provide unclear or misleading shipping information or to charge unreasonable fees for shipping and related services." So, I get the appeal back, denied. Apparently eBay finds it completely OK to charge an $8.90 fee for packing my box with food laden garbage. Awesome.Well, at least I get to give him negative feedback, right? I post unhappy with service, package packed with TRASH, would not help. Avoid. Slam his DSRs. Ahhh. Justice.WRONG.Ebay then proceeded to remove my negative feedback. I shit you not. Took them literally one minute. I got an email saying they removed it because of the decision on the case. I'm not even sure what the moral of this story is. I spent $9.00 on garbage? Avoid ebay seller "valuebuys" like the plague? Drive to Martinsburg, WV and soap their windows? The options are there! I'm lucky I know, thousands of transactions and only a small handful like this but wow. When they removed the feedback I really was thrown for a loop. I thought the new eBay was "protect the buyer", well, not in this case. Is there a shrugging emoticon? How about facepalm? Hmmm.Zenfinite
