A 60 degree impact probably makes sense, since a truck would likely be coming along a parallel road, and not a perpendicular road providing a 90 degree angle of attack.

One thing they didn't mention is that these types of barriers are much larger than they appear, since there is at least as much concrete and steel below ground as above.  The point is to transfer momentum to the ground; that's why the truck pretty much is stopped dead.  (And the wall, as the reporter said, only took damage to its paint job.   )

Bullshit.  This woman is just spouting scripture because she has no other defense.  Last time I checked, churches dont have a dress code.  Yeah sure it would probably be a bad idea to show up to church in a tube top and daisy dukes but most church members arent going to get upset with someone for wearing a shirt and jeans to worship service.  "Decent" Christians would just be happy that they are there.  Stupid woman should just be glad her kid has the opportunity to even go to school.
