I'm sure this is not that big a deal but just something I noticed. When I'm logged in, the posting time on this shows a difference compared to when I'm not logged in.

For instance, take a look at the Classifieds time of the post here. I took these snapshots within seconds of each other, btw

and then when I'm not logged in

edit: wait...maybe it's because of the timezone preference when logged in?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yeppers.  When not logged in, it defaults to system time.

I'd like to request a new feature for reading "View Active Topics"(as used on DF) or "Recent Posts" (as used on ODD74). Either of these brings up a page of the most recent posts. I've been using these lately and it saves a lot of time clicking around from forum to forum. The ODD74 one even shows the complete text of the posts.

I realize there is a "unread posts" function here, but it only works if logged in (which I often don't do) and it clears out the read posts, which I'd prefer not to have it do.

I'll look at it.  The implementation that ODD74 is using is probably do-able without too much work, and I can see the benefit.

(as an aside -- you should be able to login automatically!  And I'd think the "unread posts" function would work perfectly for you; it doesn't mark threads read until you've actually read them).

Regardless, I will look at this in the near future.  I've got something cooking right now that is taking all my free time.

Thanks. I'll try out the "Unread Posts" feature more and see if I can get used to it. I just realized there is box to mark to keep myself logged in at each visit.

As noted by David, the First Quest Album listings are filled with junk---seems like some more excluded search results need to be added to your query, Scott.

Whoops.  I hit the "search descriptions" parameter which resulted in some unintended results!  Fixed.  And found a First Quest album that I bet nobody else spotted.... :)

Anyone else getting Page Not Found errors?  I just tried it while both logged in and logged out, and they worked fine.

Try refreshing your browser (F5 on most browsers) or closing & re-opening your browser.  Sounds like something is cached wrong on your side.

yeah, even after closing and reopening I'm still getting the same message.

Let me try a completely different browser

edit: same thing...are you clicking on the links a couple replies above in grodog's response or a different link in another thread?

using Firefox 35.0.1
Safari 6.1.6
Opera 27.0

Ah!  I am getting the message if I click the link in grodog's post.  Earlier was going to the thread directly and clicking links.  It maybe just an error in his post link.

My assumption is that the link I posted to the forum was for an auction that no longer met the criteria to be posted, and it was removed when Scott fixed the search filter?

OK, that's exactly it.  I thought you meant the eBay links.  The links in grodog's post go to forum posts that no longer exist.

Not sure if this is a bug or how it is supposed to work.

I have PMs sitting in my Outbox that aren't going anywhere.  Other messages I sent are in the 'sent' box.  Does this mean they were not sent or were not moved to the 'sent' folder? One of the messages was original and the other was a reply to a PM I received.

That's intended functionality.  The PMs will sit in your Outbox, until the recipient reads them.  Sometimes people will just read the email that is sent to them and not go into their PMs on The Acaeum.  This will result in the message remaining in your Outbox until they do.

Posting here because I didn't want to start a new topic.

I was looking at the stores on the Reseller page and found a number of dead sites or 'domain for sale' sites.  Just wanted to let someone know.

Arcadian Games (site for sale)
BookWyrm Roleplaying Games (missing eBay store)
Darkside Gaming (site for sale)
Rymarbooks (network error)
Titan Games (site for sale)
