Yeah, I usually ask Paul and other Artists to do a small sketch on two Dice Bags (Mine and Coltons) but I noticed that Paul was so busy and decided to just ask him and most other guests for a signature on them this year.
Though I did get sketches on the back of both bags by Jason Braun and the Bags can be shown in public, unlike the two he did for Mike...  

I also chase down Guests to put something in the Convention's Journal.

Then there are the three posters that Mike and I (Semi-Offically) put out for signing this year....

With all those things; I figure that I pester our guests more than most do.

However; if it came down to only one item I could get signed (or drawn in) the Journal would be the one (every time) for me.
Though it has only a few pages used so far, after two conventions, the journal is already getting pretty interesting.

Please guys don't hound Doug too much.  We have a ton of stuff to catch up on.  Also, being so "efficient" we went out and rented another storage space yesterday, and then when I got home it sunk in I'll have to move a metric shit ton of boxes in the next week in 100 degree heat....plus, also get caught up on missed orders from ebay, etc.  May be awhile until I post pics.

But, in the next week or so you'll be able to buy shirts and other items with the new logo from Zazzle; leftover digest modules like Tourist Trap (Dennis Sustare), Dark Abbot of Kos/Hive of Wasp Men (Steve Winter), and Snake Riders of the Arondondo & The Devil's Skillet (Tim Kask); NTRPGCon limited edition mini (100 copies) of Lord of Great Plains; you'll be able to order (POD) copies of the limited edition Wee Warriors reprint Dwarven Glory (up to the limits of the print run). I think we may have a few dice bags available, but we may set them aside (or not, depending on what Doug thinks).  Just be patient guys! And next year think of attending so you can buy all these goodies in person!

--I'm glad everyone had fun.  I was doing my best to keep it together after the dread 'free pillows' ring of blindness-plan entered my ears.  Li'l K was a heck of a player, though, and Ark, his dad, was a good sport, too.

Just got back from Dallas after a very successful North Texas RPG Con. Doug Rhea and the boyz should be congratulated on one of the best cons I have ever attended. Matt and I got to play all weekend with the likes of Dennis Sustare, Erol Otus and many other celebrities. Lots of you guys were there too, and the Mythus Tower room was rockin' with people all weekend. I am a litle behind on shipping again, but will try to get everything out this Friday that was ordered while I was away. Special thanks to Jon Hershberger and Alan Grohe for helping us out selling books at the show (BlackBlade), and to all the folks who put the Con together. We will be back for sure. If you ever want to hit a Con where old school gamers just play all day and night for 4 days, this is your show. We even had a few younger folks to complement the grognard patrol, including one very special little 11 year old girl who handled herself quite well (we had to cut off her doughnut supply to avoid the sugar high though). I played with 4 kids under the age of 15 at the show, and all were engaged, polite and quite intelligent. I am pretty tired, I have to admit--I DM'ed 3 8-10 hour sessions for as many as 15 players at a time; Matt did 4 sessions with as many as 18 at a time. It was crazy, but believe it or not, we stayed on task and got some very productive exploration done. Dennis Sustare got the "Saturday Night Special" magic item from me (a magic axe, +1/+4 vs undead, allows turning ability as a 4th level cleric) and John January got the big prize from Matt (+2 cloak of protection). Mythus Tower is the ongoing campaign run for 3 years now at the Con (and only at the Con), so folks character sheets were saved by Matt and we will take up where we left off next year!

Next up is PaizoCon, where Dawn, Skeeter and I will all be in attendance. Clark will be joining us this year to showcase his new material in preparation for release in 2012. Oh yeah, everyone welcome Dawn Fischer to the FGG team. Dawn will be making sure that all of us use correct grammar and spelling (we are not always the best at that), and helping improve quality of all the FGG products.

Ok, off to school camp, I shall return Friday and start packing books. Thanks again everyone for your patronage, patience, and making this a fun job. Its people like those I played with this weekend that are the reason I do this stuff

For those that didn't know, Thomas Reid was there at the Con as well (he was here in 2010 too)

He worked at TSR in the 90s, writing several AD&D products, a few novels, and overseeing Forgotten Realms products.

He may not be as famous, but he's a friend of Steve Winter's and also brought his son to the Con.

If you guys can update me on anything he might be "famous" for, I'll be sure invite him up even though he may come on his own.

You didnt miss much Frank.  The food was pretty disappointing this year.  Brisket was the only good thing and the sausage was marginally edible.  It's not nearly as good as it used to be.  I think Badmike can attest to that.

Believe me Frank I would have rather been sitting with you guys shooting the breeze.  It would have saved me a terrible evening of toilet hugging and a horse voice all weekend
