http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360254926575&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Silver Anniversary Box Set.

The seller does not seem to know the product.

But offered enough pictures to see and count contents though.

It looks complete to me and yes, I saw L3 in there.

Seven Modules, plus the Art Print, Rule Book, and 25th Anniversary Booklet.

I suspect seller has no clue what he has listed, based on the listings title.

TSR Collector Set D&D 11549/1999/ISBN:0-7869-1549-8

Anyway, 14 hours left and only $55 right now and that is my bid.

But decided one copy on my shelf not being used is enough for now.    nudge nudge...

Would be easy to outbid me though as I was planning to sneak this win on the cheap without telling you guys.

Seller is also charging surprisingly reasonable shipping as well.

Anyone else starting to wonder if this is the summer for a serious price adjustment downward for a lot of rare items?

If this was Franensteined would seller include a USED M1 with no pen?

In the case of a frankenizing; One would think a $15 E-Bay purchase would have been made for a mint copy with the pen.

King - that's a pretty interesting disparity between the initial bids ($26) and the BIN of $1,125.

What is the true worth of something like this?

After the recent threads discussing this rarity, I'd think its nearer the BIN

In my opinion, the BIN is definitely on the high side.  Can't really tell from the picture just what kind of condition its in.  The seller says it is contains 23 pages.  There should be 24 according to the Acaeum's PotVQ entry.  I wouldnt imagine this would go for more than six or seven hundred.  Maybe a few years ago....but unlikely now.  Maybe I'll be surprised though.

I know of at least one Acaeum member that really, really wants one of these.  If he doesnt have one yet maybe he will do something looney and hit the BIN when he sees it.  Eh....ok maybe not.  :P

The folder does look nice, though.  Too bad the picture's not more revealing.

Ha....the only person that knows where I live is Badmike (JohnGaunt has only been to my house once and wont remember).  And if he tells....well let's just say I know where he lives!  And you still have to find it.  That will be pretty difficult rooting through the rest of the crap I have.  :)
