Yes you can, and I'm almost positive no trouble would ensue, I wasn't angling towards that. The idea that it could down the line, was. A real player isn't going to put up with having his ads yanked constantly because YOU think there's a problem. It's called tortious interference (or tortuous..lol) and that has very real implications. If it all comes back to a particular group say the Forum here, could be construed an ongoing effort to interfere in someones livelihood. This is a valuable resource, The Acaeum, and I would like to continue to use it for my collecting. I'd let the people who get payed for it, mind that particular store. I'd just stick with what you know and deal with here; RPG materials

"making money from others labors". Really? Thats a rather intellectually dishonest comment if I've ever heard one. On one level or another one has or will, unless one collects cans for a living.

And if the guy is jerking off...Nice multi-tasking, gives a whole new meaning to tapping it out. "Whilst scanning & converting material to sell"...guess it could be a one-handed job. Well thanks for sharing the image anyway

If I understand you correctly, you are implying that eBayers are yanking the ads when I'm sure you know that it is up to eBay to yank or leave the auctions. Sure, if his ads are being yanked, he can pursue legal means to reduce that possibility, but all worthwhile legal action would only materialize with eBay and not with anyone making reports. I'm not saying someone can't sue those doing the reporting, because anyone can sue anybody for anything, but they'd be on poor legal footing.

I'm slightly amused by your ineptitude, so I'll play along.
Feel free to cite me as the one who reported the auctions. In fact, send me some more links so I can report more. I will make the time to screw with asswipes who try to reduce our common passion for collecting the REAL THING. You are not entitled to make a "livelihood" by stealing. Oh, and to help you with some basic math, unless you make a living from eBay (as clearly you are not), it is not interfering in a livelihood.
eBay may consist of a pack of legality-dodging idiots, but they aren't so stupid as to ignore a valid infringement concern when it is thrown in their face.
Just to let you know up front, you're not going to get any sympathy from anyone here. We all break our balls to maintain our collections AND our connections, and when tools like you take the substance of the items we pay good money for and reduce them to an illegal $6 compilation, and then try to justify it with moronic statements and veiled legal threats, it pisses us off.
You keep posting, I'll keep reporting, and we'll all have some fun. Best if you just PM me with your rants; your shadowy threat that you directed at the Forum could get you banned, and we wouldn't want THAT.

If you're not a lawyer, or don't think you're a lawyer, or don't pretend you're a lawyer, I'd immediately stop giving advice about what you do or don't think is "legal", or whether we need to hire an attorney, etc.

You seem to be implying, if I read you correctly, that Acaeum members could somehow be legally responsible if this shithead gets kicked off ebay because he's being reported for selling bootlegs.
If that piece of fuck thinks he has a case about being booted off of ebay from complaints by Acaeum members, let him worry about trying to find a lawyer that will bring that case. The pause here is the entire legal profession in the world giggling....

"Torturous Interference" or whatever is only for those scumbags that declare VERO rights that don't exist for materials, get legitimate sellers kicked off ebay, and then get caught doing it. No one here has even made the slightest hint of doing that.

The "You might want to have an attorney on retainer here" is periously close to the line. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. Foul might not as he's notorious for banning people who bring up the "I'll get my lawyer" crap.

Too funny. I'm bleary-eyed and drinking my first cup as I write this. I'll take your advice, not read back up the thread, and go do my "something more important". I've got a Millennium Falcon to unbox for the boys; hopefully there won't be too many decals involved (NOT the Lego monstrosity, just the action figure one...I'm not crazy).

Oooooh cool! I miss the good old days when I still had all of my Star Wars toys. I still have all of my action figures from the 70's and 80's but all of the starships and vehicles met their demise before I realized how much they would be worth someday.

I'm feeling your pain, King! I had them too and the original Falcon, which is worth a fortune now... but would I swap those many, many hours of fun and play to leave it sat on a shelf and all those pound notes now...??

I had a bunch of that stuff BITD, too, though I never owned the old MF. I played them to death. The only things I have left are the majority of "Slave 1" (Boba Fett's ship) and one IG-88 figure. I have no clear recollection what happened to the rest; I was big on giving away toys to younger kids when I hit my teenage years, so that's probably where the Star Wars things went. I gave away my D&D collection when I went away to college too; I figured I'd never play again, since I was dead set on getting a social life (which I did, but about 5 years later part of that social life involved D&D and I had to start over

.

BTW, the new Millennium Falcon is truly immense! My almost-7 year old can't really lift and move it (more due to bulk than weight). It's got to be about 18 inches wide and more than that long. There were only about 30 decals to apply, only one of which I seriously mangled (whoops).

I had my eye on it for a long while (I think they were first available in the summer of 2008), but the price ($150) seemed excessive and the kids weren't quite old enough at the time. I have a grainy DVD of it somewhere . . . the singing, the dancing . . . aye, a wonderfully unique show it is.
