Single-Malt Scotch Whisky for me...

Use to drink coffee and tea when I was a wee lad.

We game a lot earlier these days since we're "adults" now... i.e.: no more D&D sleep-overs.

Classic Coca-Cola for me.  I never liked the taste of Mountain Dew and most of my playing days were before most of the high caffeine "energy drinks".  Sun Drop was a popular regional drink similar to Mountain Dew that didn't taste quite as horrible but still not much to my liking.

Yeah, Jolt of course! At least back in the day. Do they still make that stuff? As I recall, the name was accurate in its effects.

I'd stick with beer and maybe some softie drink if necessary, but the only time I ever 'enjoyed'  8O   mead was as a 13/14yr old and the after effects of sharing a bottle with a pal were not something I would wish to revisit...    :puker:

Coke and Jack Daniels (or whatever whiskey or bourbon is on the table...)

Mountain Dew when I'm getting tired.  Otherwise Sprite.  (Ok, I know, I'm always getting tired.)

I voted beer.

The usual at our table is a soft drink of some kind, but I like to grab an adult beverage (usually a beer but occasionally a splash of rum) at the start of the evening.

I DM a game after work once a week, and some nights it's hard for me to mentally switch gears from the grinding reality of my job to the fantasy World of Greyhawk, especially after a tough day.  A bit of the devil's nectar really helps to lubricate the creative machinery, so to speak.

Virgil's Black Cherry Soda, or Virgil's Root Beer.  Then water to avoid teeth rot.

Water or juice in face-to-face games.  Given the amount of unhealthy snacks eaten during FTF games, water and juice seem a wiser choice than other beverages.  I need to maintain my girlish figure.

Coffee or tea in Skype or chat games.  Gotta stay somewhat awake even if I can't think.

Alcohol makes me black-out.  I may play as if I were drunk and senseless, but that's just my normal style.  :)
