Yep. 12.5 1E 'golden rod'. I had them up on eBay for about a year at $40 a shot. I sold about a dozen early on, but the rest just sat there for ten months and I took them down. They don't seem to be particularly rare at the moment. Certainly nothing like DCC 20.5, 17.5 or 3.5. The rest of my GG goodies are gone now, with the exception of the flip book and NKG Rat King, both of which are still available from NKG at sensible prices.

Anyway, I post all my crap there with prices I hope things will sell for, though they can be a bit high. I set my stuff for "make an offer" as well, and sell stuff once in a while. Again, I don't need to sell it so it's no big deal.. if I had to have the money, I'd either list them for a heck of a deal or put them on eBay for a week to get them unloaded.

I have no way to force buyers to update their information. I would refund anyone that doesn't update their profile, point them to the FAQ on how to update it and then have them rebuy ...

I know it's a pain, but it's the only way it will show a confirmed address

I'd be warey about selling to an unknwon entity anything over $75 0r so. At least with eBay if I post a CZ:UW to Mr Unknown, and there is a claim, I am fully covered by PayPal's insurance provided I have followed PayPal's Policy. That assurance and security is worth a lot when you sell rare and semi-rare goods. Still, if RPGM can make a business of selling commons and uncommons for free, the insurance can be negotiated with PayPal as the throughput rises to commercial levels. Large volumes of rares and semi-rares will follow.

Don't know if its a UK or worldwide thing, but ebay listing prices are being reduced by 33% from Sept 26th to Oct 11th.

Not saying that makes it right, as you still get shafted on the sale price, but at least it takes a little sting out of the list price.... I'll have a few things (all random and mostly non-RPG) going up as a result.

Just listed a boatload of stuff today and was happy for the little bit of savings involved (only .10 for a .99 listing).

On eBay now you must factor in delivery confirmation costs otherwise you leave yourself open to unscrupulous buyers who claim they did not receive an item and do Paypal chargebacks.  I imagine everyone here now tacks the DC expense on, which must make the post office happy.

RPGMarketplace is great for sticking up list and forget BINs that you aren't in a rush to get sold. Use BIN only, set the auto-renew to 12 months, pay zero fees, you can't lose. True, if you are a seller that needs constant turnover the pace on RPGMarketplace will be too slow to sustain you. I've sold about 50 items there in the last year or so, without pushing at all - in fact zero marketing, zero effort. All my buyers have been 100% decent folk and quite a few have remarked they are much happier with the venue than eBay, where they have been ripped-off by shady sellers. One big advantage of RPGmarketplace is it is populated by sellers who have a reputation to uphold and are known in certain communities where non-performance would see then get slated. Of course the buyer isn't aware of this in advance but eventually that reputation will bed-in and the site will become trusted. I've also bought from RPGMarketplace and do so with 100% confidence. I believe Doug has done a fair bit of work with vetting. Anyway, I haven't paid a listing or FV fee in over a year now and if I wanted (had the time) I could do a lot more to generate traffic. The state of the economy is making sure I concentrate on other things right now though.
