I have had the same experiences with Guido.....
Limited amount of packing ONCE.
The next time I won one of his listings; I asked for extra padding and was rewarded with exactly that.
No worries.

He is on my favorite sellers list.
Though I seldom buy from him.

As Blackmoor stated, he is good for run of the mill stuff.  I purchased some cheap Star Frontiers modules from him once.  Very little packing material needed.  The Nanorien Stones I won from him was not "run of the mill" so I asked it to be shipped a certain way.  He did not disappoint.  A lot of sellers would have just told me to go jump in a lake or charged me extra for additional packing material.

Here is another ebay seller I have only done a little business with but all positive experiences.

He has a decent rep and DSRs and when I've bought from him the items were shipped well packaged and quickly.



I've only bargained shopped though. He has a large selection including good prices on common Judges Guild items.

Anybody have any dealings with EBay seller tammyp6775?

Just received a 4th print Holmes box and a couple of The Dragon mags in great shape, but she used ZERO packing material in the Priority box she tossed it in, and TAPED the Holmes box shut.

Fortunately, I was able to remove the tape with no harm done. I'm sure the box got a little scuffed from the trip as well, but the post office did not crush anything.

All in all pretty lucky with what could have been a potential disaster.

The tape makes me think she's just ignorant of how things should be done.

I once got a first edition Stormbringer RPG box that the guy's wife had helpfully sealed with masking tape.  :x

The problem was ignorance.

I suggest:  Gently thank her for the items and point out how to improve for next time.

bit of a random bump, but geniehobbies recently worked out a very good deal on some pretty common items, with good packing & shipping to the UK  :)

Just received a book from this seller  samuelrudland who forgot to mention that the player cards in the back of the book were missing....  :?

So I dropped a polite email asking for a partial refund (no amount mentioned) as the book wasn't in perfect condition as per.

To his credit, he bounced straightback and gave a 50% refund on the total transaction (inc shipping total), not just the book!  :D   So happy buyer and good karma to the seller [/b]

I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but ebay has also created an environment that any seller can get hosed by not responding in favor of the buyer.


And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

My experiences (10 items approximately) with Intelligator have been identical to the other ones mentioned here. Great seller.
Same (10 items or so) is true for Guido Gypsy: sparce packing, but otherwise good.
Foolish Games (3 items): Just be clear on condition ratings. "Excellent" condition for one item was not up to the usual standard. <sad>
A seller with a name something like Napoleon's Dad was great (10 items or so).

true enough, but he could have either been an arse about or offered a couple of quid back. I'm happy, so he's cool with that.

I bought many times from Intelligator. Joseph is a very serious and kind seller. He gives a perfect service all the time. Never had to complain about dozens of transactions with him. He is definitively one of the most reliable seller I've found on Ebay. The parcels are always perfect and items are very well packaged. Shipping is prompt and I always receive a message when the items are shipped.

As said by other Acaeum members here, prices are among the highest for the BIN auctions. But if you are searching for a specific item you do not find elsewhere then do not hesitate to buy from Joseph. Pictures are rather low res, so I sometimes ask to get a better picture before a purchase and I get it quickly.

The communication is top quality also.

His excellent feeedback is well deserved.
