No I wouldn't. I don't touch guys below the waist.  :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Yeah, you're at least 6 numbers, seven if we use comeliness.

Lol - yeah something like that youtube post!

Seems that sparked a bit of debate!

I was thinking about this is purely philanthropic terms. I have been on this hiatus for a few years doing my PhD, but that will all be over in a few months and it is back to work. I will be on a decent salary again and should be able to contribute both financially and time-wise to such an enterprise - as I am so passionate about the hobby.

That being said I may have jumped the gun by a few months as I need to have this dang thesis bound and submitted and working again before I can really support such a thing. I am in total agreement on it being Acaeum-based.

Anyway, I was just floating an idea at this stage - not making a formal proposal. Perhaps we should keep it on the boil though  :)

Well I really like this idea and think it is worth pursuing.

To do a newsletter the only costs would involve print copies and the cost of putting it together as a pdf unless someone with the tech knowhow can volunteer to help.

I'd like to start a new thread and begin working out what people would like to see in an Acaeum newsletter. Does that sound good?

Secret handshakes and cosy paddling initiation rites aside, I think this sounds fun.  Of course, we already have this in a sense, with the forums, the Acaeum dinner, Gencon games and the Acaeum Texas convention, and other informal meet-ups and helping-arrangements.  Anything that brings us closer together and provides more interest and resources is all good by me  :D

this does sound like an interesting idea, if financial help is needed to help get this going, please let me know.

Ok. As per Jason's suggestion, I started a new thread to brainstorm about a newsletter!!!

Well, I like associations letting me in  8O  and I'm not in principle against some form of fees being paid (low, very low fees...) IF this could mean getting a quality newsletter. Nothing beats paper for some relaxing reading...
