I think there's a website where you can get the missing magic viewer text for these mods.  I stumbled onto it once, I'd have to to do a websearch to find it again but I'm pretty sure it's still out there.

wasn't sure where else to post this, so here seemed like a good place.

was just reading through WGS2 Howl from the North as i have now got a few copies of this, but one of them was real strange.

the module isnt missing anything so far as components go and is bound tight with staples etc.

however...

it starts on page 17, runs to page 32, goes back to 17 and runs to page 32 (middle of the module), then carries on page 33 to page 48, then goes back to page 33 and then runs to page 48.

its basically missing pages 1 to 16 and then anything that might be after page 48.

has anyone else had one like this?

most odd!

Al

Are we nearly there yet?

This is an informative thread.

I thought I saw another one where people were actually posting their missing parts in hope of connecting with others who may have them. Anyone know where this thread is? I'm missing a few things, and have doubles of others.

Thanks!

The name of the thread is something like "Trading to Complete the Incomplete" or something like that. :?

I know this post is old, but...

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what is on pages 31-34 specifically in the 1983 3rd edition of the red D&D basic set Players Manual. I have dusted off the old books to get my kids started, but noticed the missing pages. I am sure the blank character sheets make up 2 of the pages, but I wanted to make sure I do not need the other pages. I think a graph page was another, and possibly some sample characters. P30 shows Character Classes, and P35 shows spells, so I am a little nervous that something important might be missing. There seems to be no reference to any of these pages throughout the book. Thanks for any help.

Or is there somewhere else I can find this information?  I have looked all over.

p 31 is the front of the character record sheet
p 32 is the back of the character record sheet
p 33 is an entire page of square graph (looks like 4 squares to an inch)
p 34 is some pre-rolled sample characters.

So what you assumed was on the pages was right on!

Good luck, and I hope your kids have fun with it!

Thanks for the quick reply!.  My 6 year old can't wait to create his first character (magic user).  Now I know I will not be missing any info to get started.
