** expired/removed eBay auction **

Dungeon Tiles set 1 supposedly, but no picture. I am astounded by the interest in these Dungeon Tiles sets.

Another auction where what you see in the picture is not what you get, and this seller has screwed up since he forgot to change the text of the description when he changed the title.

The 3 volume white box set is being sold in another auction. This auction should be for the basic set.

Personally I feel that showing the white box set and basic set together but selling them seperately is a scam.

I guess the seller has no concept of how confusing this is.  Since he hasn't actually edited the text of the item description, if you were to bid and win on the basic set for a relatively low cost, could you file a seller non-performance for not getting the white box items? :)

My note sent to that seller....

Honestly I understand what is being sold in this listing, but would it be THAT much more difficult to take TWO seperate Photos and take them closer up to the EXACT items being sold for each listing? Not being mean, just seems better.

He did that for three different pens that he is listing as well.
One pic of three pens, same pic in all three listings.
Each listing is for ONE of the three pens in that one picture.

Sheese...
Does his camera have some limit to the total number of pics it will let him take before it explodes in his hands???

Her's my guess at what's going on.  When listing items, the thing that can take the longest is the loading of the photo(s).  By listing a similar item, and not having to change the photo(load a new photo), you can significantly expedite the listing process for everything in that one photo.  I hope that makes sense. 8)

Understand what you are saying buddy, but.
He has like 9 listings.... Total.
Three of those are for the 3 pens...........

The two we are concerned with above are for items that will easily bring in $30 and $150, more or less.
IMO That kinda scratch is worth a few more seconds of time.
Unless your jpeg is too big in the first place.
And to spend a little Extra time loading ONE pic is rediculously easy and fast.
No that excuse is a no starter for me..

Which auction do you think the reference sheets are being sold with?  They are in the Basic auction pile.

So did I.....
My second in fact.
From my first note to him; He was unsure what I meant when I told him that the Reference Sheets go with the White Box and the Dice should go with the larger box.
In that first note I also stated how it might be confusiing to some with TWO Box Set in One picture.

He wrote me back and said "What large Box?"
So I sent him a second Note:

Two Box Sets are shown in the picture.
One is White (Left side) and smaller and the Reference Sheets go with that smaller Box Set (Along with those three tan colored booklets.
The other Box is larger (Right side) and it shows a Red Dragon on the cover, the Dice Bag and all the other stuff (Except the tan books and Ref Sheets) go with the Dragon Box Set. Hope I am not upsetting you, I was mearily trying to be helful. Best of luck with your listings, And have a nice week. John

You are right.  It's a poor excuse.  Not logical, but possible.  Who knows why people do stupid or lazy things? :?

He has now fixed BOTH D&D type listings.

Each with a new pic and Both look good too.

These are both nice looking box sets and each listing should sell for a good bit of money (relative to the normal value for each Box Set that is)

I like how he posted your messages in the "Question and Answer" section as if you were asking him for information.  They're more like a "Command and Obey" section.

He's already reaping the benefits from all our questions. The white box is almost at $60 .
