Thank you all again for your kind words.  The funeral is over, and I am mentally exhausted.  It's good and healing to read all your kind messages.  Things went as well as could be expected considering everything was planned in a few hours.  

I interviewed with several TV stations last night and today and spoke with reporters from USA Today and the Associated Press.  Apparently the news was all over many of the networks including CNN & CBS.  NPR also carried a story from what I hear.  I hope what I said made sense.  

If you have local newspapers with the story and feel like mailing them to me, I would love that.  PM me for my addy.  I already have the NY Times and most Georgia papers.  USA Today said they'd mail me a copy.

Thank you again for all of your kindness and support.  It means a lot.

You are, however, quite fortunate to have had a father who contributed so well, not only to your life, but to the world around him.

most of us walk through life like kane in kung fu, leaving no imprint on the rice paper. your father on the other hand left a deep impression. you are, i am sure, proud of his legacy and i hope you hold it close to your heart during this difficult time.
