Does anyone have a scan of the 2nd print O1?

O1 Gem and the Staff

First:  No UPC bar code on the rear cover.

Second:  Has a UPC bar code on the rear cover.

Here is a rear cover scan of the 1st print:

Thanks,
Mike

Excellent! How about L1 2nd print?

L1 Secret of Bone Hill

First (1981):  TSR Face logo.  ISBN on back cover bottom left.

Second:  TSR Face logo.  ISBN on back cover bottom left, Product Number on back cover bottom right.

Third:  TSR Face logo.  ISBN and Product Number on back cover bottom left, but are offset left from the rest of the back-cover text; Piece Code back cover bottom right.  (Thanks to Mike Kuo and Adrian Newman for this info).

Fourth:  TSR Face logo.  ISBN and Product Number on back cover bottom left, but are now flush left with the rest of the back-cover text;  Piece Code back cover bottom right.  (Thanks to Adrian Newman for this info).

Since we are (or were) briefly on the topic of L1, I thought I'd present this question here from a community member.  As my collection has been sold, I can't check this out myself (and it's probably been twenty years since I've actually opened L1...):

Reading module L1 (Secret of Bone Hill) I got the impression that something was missing. There are references in the first part of the adventure to some places not covered in the interior maps. After some search I finally found out that the module was originally sold with a second cover containing those maps, exactly like the second part of the story, The Assassin's Knot, but nobody (Nobleknight.com, Hitpointe.com, TSR Archives by Ob1knorr, etc.) remembered it.

Having bought this module on Nobleknight.com I obviously have not the missing interior cover and so I can't provide a scan, but I can attach the maps I found on the internet which were printed on that cover. Please ask someone who owns L1 to check if I am right.

In my copy of L1, those maps are on pages stapled into the middle of the module, between pages 14 and 15.

...and thus were easily removed, without leaving a break in the page numbers.  That would explain it!  Thanks.

I have a first print of L1 (it's real cherry too) and these maps/images are between pages 14-15 as well, as listed. Just to verify. :) Keep the questions coming!!
