am sure my daughter will be fine. if she is tired then she can just sleep in the chair

but i am sure if there is an opportunity to go someplace, meet everyone and have fun, she will want to go no problem.

i will try and see that she sleeps a little on the flight anyway.

EVERYONE HOLD UP PLEASE ON THE MEET AND GREET.

I am already working on this. The Rathskeller has agreed to give the Acaeum their own room with full bar service. The Rathskeller has menu that will fit the bill for all price ranges. It also has beer from the UK, Germany, and other country. The atmosphere is great. I had lunch there to check it out last week. Wonderful.

What I need from all of you is to pm me the number of people who will be attending with you. I am projecting this dinner to take place Wednesday night at 8pm.

It is very close to downtown, perhaps 6 city blocks away at most.

Nothing is a done deal. So if you all want Webber's I can go there today and speak with management.

But I really think the Rathskeller is the better choice.

It does say on the website that its "over 21s only". Will that be OK for Als daughter?

Adder you are right....I just checked the ingredients and it says "PRESSED Dingo", not "100% Dingo meat", so im wondering if they don't have Kanga or something nasty mixed in there to fill it out.

Either Rathskeller or Weber is fine with me...they are both in my wallet's range. And I like having a private room, I feel like a celebrity, and let's face it the Acaeum members with over 3000 posts ARE the rock stars of the collecting world (sadly though I am merely the Jimmy Buffet to Al's Bono....) :roll:

The age requirement is for the outdoor beergarden and the bar only. All kids are welcome in the dinning rooms.

Is anyone else staying at the Westin besides addermcone and myself? I just looked over the beer menu at Rathskeller and I may need to have some assistance getting back to my room.

Better yet, since I get into Indy fairly early (12:30 PM) I may just have to check-in at the hotel, dump off my stuff, and catch a cab up there and get started before everyone else. By the time people start showing up for dinner, I'll have already sobered up. :wink:

And before any of you pass judgment....I am not an alcoholic. I just really like a good European beer....or three. :roll:

Using Malc's list (above) we have 15 people. But I'm sure there are more who would attend if we get word to them. Not everybody reads the forums everyday. Also, need to see if Frank and Tim, and Mr. Wham could attend as digitaries and for forth. So I'm asking you guys who are in good with these folks to pm or email - get the word out. And then get back to me.

Devon and I will antend.

Either the Rathskeller or the Webber would be great. The Webber is in walking distance to those staying close to the convention center. We will be driving regardless, so if a couple of people need a ride to the Rathskeller we can help.
