There certainly is some crazy stuff going on right now.

Check out the other WD auctions from the same seller. He knew exactly how to pitch the sale, what should go separate and what should go in small or larger lots and the net result takes the breath away. Most of these are 99p items on a lucky buyer day, excluding the lower number issues. But 21-30 at £66!!!! I just recently started to collect WD. On that day the prices quadrupled - not my doing. I'll be collecting used loo roll next, so buy now to avoid being priced out of the market.

Had I known about it, I would have been in there for the bidding on the DM Index. Not sure I want to spend 70 on it, but I'd be happy to walk away with one for 40-50ish and I'd consider 70 if the next few keep going for that price. They just don't come up very often at all.

outdoor geo's are really hard to get arent they? so that being the case, getting one in any condition is a good thing.

well, i agree with you on that... i am actually looking for a copy for me.. the point is that cut geos are not worth that much, even if hard to find...

The G's make a little more sense as they are Lizardman logos, but it still seems way high to me. The D series I have no idea.

Yup, the G series does make a little more sense, still I think both auctions went far higher than they should have.

I was able to obtain First Print copies of the G series (Shrinkwrapped) for quite a bit less than either of those sets went for.

I think this hobby is seeing a swing towards the rediculous (Prices) at times.

What is a highprice to someone is nothing to someone else. What did those go for, a weeks worth of Starbucks, two weeks. They want it, gotta have it and a couple hundred bucks is no object. Sheesh, I wouldn't spend like that even if I had the money.

well, a quick thought after that weekend of madness: since those days i have the feeling that i cannot find anything interesting on ebay...

is this simply a feeling or do you find it as well? i have a "wish list" which hasnt changed so much during the last months and i was usually able to find several oof the items i listed in there... during the last 2 weeks i am not able to have the same rate of findings...

I'm assuming that's what it is, I'm waiting for a number of things as well, little has come up for me either.

never mind guys, it will all come good.

axel....FINALLY i have mailed you them books dude. sorry for the delay....just catching up with things now - had a ton of things to do plus girlfriend is moving house, so have been backwards and forwards with furniture etc that i have been buying for her and taking over (sheesh)....

but hey at least its something to smile about
