Dave just filed an NPB complaint and had the feedback removed when the guy did not respond. That is Dave's MO at the moment.

I'm at a loss here. There are several people here who would love to see the Pussy go down, yet no one takes down these NPB filings and gets eBay on the phone to have them investigate the trend of fraud, and it IS fraud.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

A lot of people, both from here and elsewhere, have reported Cougie a number of times over the years. I can't blame anyone for thinking that it doesn't seem to do a lot of good.

It's possible that he might have some inside help at eBay, but, honestly, that sounds like a bit too much of a conspiracy theory for me. I think it's more likely that he possesses a certain genius for manipulating eBay's rules and regulations to their absolute breaking point.

If he's committing fraud, in other words, it's basically eBay-sanctioned fraud. It's the regulations themselves that need to be changed.

I agree. I think what unfortunately is going on is that Coug makes eBay money and money does most of the necessary talking for the Britty Kitty. I mean, if they shut him down, eBay stands to lose about $1,000.00 a year give or take. Basically they can explain it away as professional jealousy, misunderstandings, whatever; it doesn't matter. The excuse doesn't even have to be plausible, just possible. Even the cut and dry cases can be dismissed because eBay isn't being damaged financially. EBay's rules are set up for the purpose of their shareholders, not their sellers and buyers. :cry:

It's not right and it's not just, but that's what makes sense to me.

I am hoping that continued efforts to inform buyers and sellers of his machinations, manipulations and fraud will cut his business to the point of limiting his influence from a financial standpoint. If, for example, he were no longer a Power Seller, that would likely be the tipping point. I don't think were close to that, but I do suspect we've cut his business by a third or so.

So, it's likely not an insider influence keeping Coug alive, it's dollars and cents nonsense. :roll:

I rarely appear on these sorts of pages. But I have one for the group. US seller, immediately block this Italian collector:

I won't get into the gory details of he said/she said (me being the he, of course, he being the she) but unlike many other Italian buyers, who I love doing business with, the buyer is very, very, very impatient. Despite the fact Italy's mail service is very slow, and unreliable, and that the buyer seems to have had issues with American buyers before (notably Guido) concerning shipment speed, and despite the tracking system showing the items are still in transit, the buyer filed against me on ebay and indicated several false statements. These include saying I wouldn't communicate with him (we've exchanged about a dozen emails), and that I won't resolve the issue (I have offered replacement items if the buyer will wait up to 8 weeks after the items were sent, just to make sure they won't arrive). I reluctantly had to leave a neg yesterday, expecting a neg in return, due to the buyer's increased vehemence and belligerance in email exchanges. Avoid...and Block Wipe if you so choose.
