Oh, come on ... that's not the issue here and you know it. There
is no Acaeum policy — which I suspect you also know — and threads here get bumped all the time. Hell, I've bumped this one myself at least three times:

The issue — the
real one — is that we don't need another troll. This particular version was flushed out after bumping numerous threads for no apparent reason ... until a certain thread got knocked onto the second page. Then it became all too apparent.
There's nothing "tragic" here ... old threads aren't suddenly going to start getting locked (seriously, how many threads ever get locked at this site?) ... and this person wasn't "updating" or "discussing" anything. Don't let the troll confuse the issues here.
