Bread lines, mass unemployment and the violence that comes with it. The beauty of socialist utopia. But wait.... It'll be different this time. We'll may a trillion $$$$ coin and get rid of cash. Or better still... Lets give everyone a living wage without them ever having to do any work ever. Why not just make every citizen and millionaire. Millionaires don't starve or riot do they? Oh wait... they did in Germany, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Venezuela. Ah... but those are all backward countries and they just didn't do socialism the right way. The way that socialism should be done will make everyone happy and free. You will own nothing and you will be happy (Provided you have your papers and permission from your Government to be outside.)
Auswies bitte.The funny thing about food banks in the my local area is a lot of those who use them have mobile phones, dogs that eat more than my kids, and TV entertainment subscription packages. They'll actually stand and check their Facebook while you're packing their bag for them. These are the riches 'poor' people in the whole world! Like, given the medical benefits in the UK, I suspect it is better to be 'poor' in the UK than in the US. Based on annual income alone, they are in the top 20% of the richest human beings who have ever lived on this planet, and yet they figure feeding their children is not as high a priority as feeding their pitbull, paying for something to watch when they are sitting on their sofa, or having a bit of bingo money (is that just a Scottish thing? Do yous have Bingo halls in the US?)
Still, its free food, so why not spend your spare money on Netflix instead of vegetables?
It'll be interesting to see what happens in a country full of billions of rounds of ammunition when compared to countries with only hand tools. Wouldn't want to live the next 20 years in a US residential neighborhood tacked onto the side of a major metropolitan area.
