Dice have been going for insane prices over the past year+...especially with the popularity of the Dice Maniacs Club and other collector's pages on FB. Some Chessex sets will set you back $800 + and last year, vintage sets started to go through the roof. Where you could get any Holmes loose for a few bucks a pop...good luck now! Also, the dice that some people now make on their own...absolutely beautiful (and pricey!)..... While I'm told I don't need more dice, I shrug it off

Original sets are selling like hot cakes. No reason I can think of, except they are original. You have at least 5 complete sets in there (going by d4s) and many 0-9 d20, which are also highly sought.

The Holmes are all awesome and will catch most people's attention, but the bubblegum pinks from the pre-TSR era, the hand-highlighted 20, and that entire top bag are just SCREAMING at me. Straight unicorn dice, these days. Which are armory? Which are odd Moldvay colors?

I mean... if I were a dragon, I'd want that as a pillow.

Didn't know these existed. They look to be from an era later than I usually collect (1990s?), but the Waldenbooks name makes it interesting as one of those dead-mall relics where we used to buy this stuff. Their Xignals newsletter (1983+) had D&D articles that might be useful in pinning down when titles became available...does anybody do that anymore? A decade ago when Playing at the World was published, everyone was doing that...now it's mostly about watching valuations multiply in an inflationary economy.
