Like any others.

The monsters are called out in bold type.

They have an appendix in the back where they statted out monsters that weren't already, like the osquip and the thoul (and the cave fisher!), as well as the NPCs.

I wish I could find a decent FLGS by me. They are a rarity anymore.  l'm about the same distance as you from Danbury but on its western side.

Where  I used to go in Danbury (Gamer's Gambit) is now closed - permanently.

However, there is an FLGS in New Milford on Route 7 - Goblin's Cavern. (221 Danbury Rd Ste H New Milford, CT 06776-4354)

Phone # (203) 799-7379

Hope this helps.

Just did a search for Brewster, NY.

One game store in Peekskill, and one in Croton-on-Hudson. There's also 2 in Poughkeepsie if you want to go that far.

Let me know if you want their digits.

Misprinted Goblin's Cavern Phone # - should be an 860 Area Code.

Just curious. How are you finding them?  I did searches for MTG, used comics, used books, etc. But the results are paltry at best.

Poughkeepsie is a hike but it would be worth it for a good place.  Always willing to help the little guy.

Wizards D&D website.

Dropdown menu at top - Products -> Support -> Store and event locator.

https://dnd.wizards.com/

I would call these stores BEFORE you make the hike to see if they carry previous editions/older games, as the website lists only those stores carrying 5E products.

Thought I'd edit and say that The Complete Strategist is still open in the city. Or at least it was the last time I was there (over a year ago, now).

Original Adventures Reincarnated #1: Into the Borderlands Hardcover|Goodman Games Store

It's about the (5e) money, without honor or ethics. I'm an unperson. My freelance work has been utterly strangled, as well as most of my convention activities. (Happened in Feb 2019 in Lake Geneva, frex.) NTX is 5e-free, at least Doug & Mike are cool.

::shrug:: Since Wizards controls hobby gaming with these gangster maneuvers, I'm out of hobby gaming. It was fun, but it's over.

Cave Comics in Newtown carries some RPG stuff but not sure if they'd do pre-sale discounts. Might be worth to give them a call. Not sure if they're reopened yet.

Sea-to-sky-games wrote in goodman games to reprint t1-4:For those with OAR1, 2, 3 or 4, are these "worth" getting at $50 a pop? That is, do you find the historical notes, extra material plus the 5E conversion meaningfully different from the original modules?

For my part (having acquired volumes 1-3), the fact that they are in hardcover is alone sufficient to get them.

I appreciate the historic notes and essays, too; I've yet to get into 5th ed., but I've personally found the updates worthwhile so far.

I really do like these books, but it would be great if a PDF was available like a lot of their other products.  It would make it so much easier to use the material.  It would be even better if it was provided with the purchase, but I'd be happy just to be able to purchase it separately.

I'm willing to bet that there's no PDFs because of copyright issues.

I'm sure if you search hard enough, you can find a pirate copy somewhere, as there is always someone out there who scans them.

So far it looks like Goodman has stricken all mention of Greyhawk from the front and back covers. I'm very sad to see the erasure and genericization (or worse, Forgotten Realms-ification) of Greyhawk's classics scenarios continue.

Otherwise, I generally like the OAR line so far. The 5e rules are easy to ignore as a classic gamer and the new content and expanded areas has been genuinely useful and well thought out. Easy to find them on a bit of a discount. Take up too much shelf space though.

Well, GG does what WotC tells them to do... otherwise they lose permission to do 5e products.
That's why I'm banned. I was in the original B2 revisit, but was purged. WotC says I'm he-who-shall-not-be-named.
