That's awesome. Love the "Map Requisition Sheet"! Can you tell which artist the illustration is by?

Zenopus wrote in TSR Information Pack - what to do?:Another possibility would be one of the TSR Gateway to Adventure catalogs from the time period. My aforementioned Moldvay set also had one of those Gateway catalogs, which could've come with the module guidelines or in the set itself.

I have one of those Gateway catalogs in my moldvay basic boxed set, but it's only a few pages.

Zenopus wrote in TSR Information Pack - what to do?:It also might be something sent out to retailers, so it could instead have TSR advertisements or information sheets meant for that audience.

This is an interesting theory - "information packet" is quite vague. Did TSR send out wholesale catalogs? I confess I know nothing about the publishing business, but it seems this could be a great many different things.

Zenopus wrote in TSR Information Pack - what to do?:I think you are going to need X-ray or CT-scan the envelope to find out what is actually inside!  8)

Funny you mention this, I"ve considered using a transparency spray to see what the cover page says. I presume whatever chemical this is (acetone?) would evaporate completely without damaging the envelope, but I'm also enjoying the ambiguity. My primary goal is fishing for information from others about what they think it might be.

Howdy Mordenkainen,

I have one of these open. I'll photograph and weigh mine and then you can weigh yours to see if they are the same!

I'll get to it by Wednesday and post here.

Hi again - I totally understand if life ambushed you with some other obligations, but wanted to ping you just in case this slipped your mind. I'm definitely still very curious about those contents. I'm also curious about what the exterior of your envelope looks like.  (Another example on this thread was from a slightly later era given the exterior logo/appearance.)

I have looked for it but can not find it currently!

I had two adult children move abruptly back into our house and a mother-in-law downsizing and have 3 full sets of furniture stacked all over the place!

Hopefully, this all gets cleared out and I can get access to my collection!

Patience, I will find it.
