There is no way to know if this is a 4th or 5th print is there?

I was at a local Auction not long ago that had a similar situation. The auction had dozens of unopened boxes of Football Trading Cards. They were going for what they normally do (not much) until one came up and the bidding exploded on it. The collectors there knew that box had the possibility of containing a $500 card, or maybe even more than one. I think I remember them saying it was a John Elway rookie card, but my memory might be off. A couple of other higher dollar cards came out in that series too, if what one of the bidders was telling me was accurate. I think that box went for $200 or so.
I kept thinking at the time. You know if you open up all the packs and that card is not in there - you've established a low value on it. But keep it closed and it always has an inflated value just on a possibility of high value.

I think about that too whenever I see a Box of Grenadier AD&D "Solid Gold Line" Minis in shrink. Small chance it might have one of the coveted Gold Plated figures in it. A chance too, it's a box full of Lead Rot by now (yuck).
