I find the above group rather dead and its annoying that your post must first be approved by a moderator before it gets posted - haven't used it in while but sometimes it would take a couple days before it was approved.

An alternative is

Well, this thread is becoming a goldmine for references on where to sell and buy stuff everywhere on the web.

Coming back to our main theme - that is, the "perfect" auction site.

Let's say that on this site you could decide everything about your sale - so, make it a public or a private sale, inviting people, etc.
The website could also provide you an escrow service (for a fee based on a pecentage of the sale) and other services.

The question is:

- which kind of services would you want to have by such a perfect site?
- how much would you be prepared to pay to list an item there?
