I am looking forward to this year's con!  For the first time, I'll officially be staff!  I am grateful to Doug for this honor.  I'll squeeze in a few games too!  Here's my schedule:

Badmike wrote in North Texas RPG Con: 2017:This year we will have two digests at the con, an interesting reverse-dungeon crawl by Edwin Nagy (you start out in the Dragon's Lair, and have to get out from there) that would be good for tournaments, and a reprint of Jennell Jaquays classic Night of the Walking Wet with an essay about the Dungeoneer by Jennell.  The essay is an amazing piece that details her work on The Dungeoneer and early history in gaming, very candid and informative (runs about five pages or so).  Night of the Walking Wet, From Dungeoneer's #5 & #6, is reprinted in it's original glory, but as a bonus we present Night of the Walking Wet Reloaded, where Zach and I cleaned up the layouts and fonts, did a few spelling and tense corrections, and made the maps readable. It looks great, and can be run with OD&D rules.  Jennell also contributed a new cover for this!

Actually, no. They will be available through me, on this forum in the Classifieds, and on my FB page (Badmike's Books & Games). Money still goes to the con for both, but we figured that way they would get better exposure.  I believe our initial printing on Walking Wet is 165-200 range. Doug saw the finished product and thinks we will sell out (It does look really good); Im not as sure (we have never completely sold out of a digest at the con) but this will be our largest attendance ever (over 400). We are not adverse to doing a 2nd printing if we sell out before people who do not go to the con have a chance to get one. The Edwin Nagy digest is between 50-100 copies, but probably no 2nd print on these.

I'll try to post daily on any tidbits I need to let you guys know leading up to the con. This pertains to the Badmike's Books and Games booth in the Vendor Room (when you walk past the Registration desk into the Oak Ballroom, we are right there to your left).

First, we will be selling digests of The Dungeoneer Revisted: Night of the Walking Wet by Jennell Jaquays ($15) and Return from Dragonmount by Edwin Nagy ($10). We have 110 copies of the first and 75 copies of the 2nd, and then we are out (but will have more online after the con). All money goes to helping pay Doug's medical bills and to keep NTRPG con running through our 10th anniversary next year. The digests are ONLY available at this booth (not at the front), so don't bother Doug about them, he doesn't have any up front (although he will have copies of older digests we have left at $10 each). If you aren't attending the con, worry not, we will have copies available online (through facebook, and here on the Classifieds page) for you.

2nd, if you have NTRPG con 2017 t-shirts you ordered from me (not through Doug during registration), I will have these in a bag with your name on it at the Badmike's Books & Games booth. Zazzle sent me too many shirts; I will have a Large and 2XL and MAYBE another shirt for sale at $30 each, first come first served, volunteers who are helping set up the con get first shot. NO reserves! They are for walk up only. Again, don't bother Doug about these, they are being sold by me, however, money for these will go to the con and Doug. If you aren't attending the con, convention shirts and other various items with the logo on it will be available at our Zazzle store, I'll have the link up about a week after the con.

3rd, if you need a copy of Swords & Wizardry Light, I will have copies of the rules folio at Badmike's Books and Games, and there should also be copies at the Frog God Games booth and their room (Dogwood). Please limit yourself to only a couple copies; if you are running a game at a con or a game store, you can take a few more and some character cards (if any are left). There are a few Swords & Wizardry Legion members who I did not mail folders to, they were asked to pick their folders up at the con; we will have these for you. However, these are ONLY for members of the Legion, we just don't have enough to give everyone. If you want to join the Legion while you are at the con and receive one, you have to talk to Zach Glazar or me. If you aren't on Facebook and wish to join the Legion (you get a nifty folder with a couple of rules folios inside, a small pad of graph paper, and character cards) just PM me here and I'll get you sorted out....
