Lol---I've considered that several times, Ron, and the only reason I haven't is that I've not scanned the originals yet, (which I need to do by March now, obviously, to run the events).  Duplex printing will definitely cut down on the size of the binder i need to shoehorn into my backpack =)

Once I've incorporated feedback from Gary Con (and NTRPG Con), I plan on submitting it to North Wind Adventures to see if Jeff will publish it. If he accepts it, then maybe that material will be available as part of the KS to fund it. If he doesn't accept it (or does and doesn't want that material), I'll happily send you all of my original maps and related materials from Gary Con. Cool?

Cool? ...you're too cool for school! honestly speaking i look forward to hearing from you rather than the KS... sorry it's hegoistic, but i like this idea...

This will be my first GaryCon so I've very excited. I'm sitting down this week to make the travel arrangements. Any suggestions regarding airport?

Which? Madison, Milwaukee, O'Hare, Midway, or other?

Thinking O'Hare for proximity and Delta's connection patterns.

If you take the Van Galder bus to South Beloit, I can pick you up. That's my usual stop (coming home from cons), just 10 miles from my house.

(Same for any Acaeum member taking said bus btw.)

. I might can help out if you come into O'Hare.  Depends on when exactly you arrive.

Hello Acaeum -
This year I'll be running two AD&D 1st ed events at GaryCon. A summary of both of these events is found on the following GaryCon webpage: Upcoming Events | Events | Gary Con
Details are also provided below.  Look forward to seeing you at the con!

-Liverpuncher

Relagul's Quest: The Tower of Faces
March 4 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Cost: 3 Silver Pieces

In the shadowy corner of a tavern your band celebrates the spoils won from an ancient crypt. An ivory horn covered in runes is your most worthy prize; it's filled with ancient coins. Suddenly your revelry is cut short by the sound of thunder, and in seconds you are whisked away. You then appear standing before a black tower. Countess faces swirl in and out of view against its stygian glass. The faces merge together, and then a wizened bearded man appears. He looks down upon you from under bushy eyebrows, scowling. Heated whispers to your left draw your eyes to two men wearing wizard hats. You hear the small one whisper to the other, "Well it could have been worse…"

This AD&D 1st edition adventure is for levels 7-9; characters will be provided.

(A picture of a piece I commissioned for the event - done by the Peter Mullen - is found below.)

Relagul's Quest: The Secret Temple of Bast
March 5 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
GM: Nicholas Abruzzo
Cost: 3 Silver Pieces

You first met the fabled wizard Relagul the Magnificent a month ago when you were mistakenly summoned by his apprentice, to guard the Tower of Faces. Despite an endless stream of challenges you survived that quest, and were rewarded greatly.

Since then, every night the moon has been full. What was once a welcome sight has now brought dread. For when darkness comes, some have gone mad staring at its silver light.

But you've been blissfully unaware of that unsettling change in the celestial sphere; every day and night you've been luxuriating upon silk pillows, under bejeweled amber curtains living like hedonists at the Minotaur & The Snake.

While enjoying an evening brandy, with a course of artisan cheeses from the Halfling Halls of Homesong, your respite is interrupted when a blue flame erupts in the fireplace. Suddenly the head of Relagul's apprentice Horvath appears. After a coughing fit he says, Greetings Champions of the Tower -- our master needs you again!

This is an AD&D 1st Edition adventure for levels 7-9. Characters provided.

I will be there for the full duration of the con.  If you see me, (I'll be the guy with the Manowar shirts on) say hi!  Maybe I'll bring my Acaeum badge to wear too.  I will also be bringing along a decent selection of excellent beer so if you want one, ask!  See you all there.
