I'd like to attend, but since we're driving from New York, we won't be getting in until early evening.  Has the time been determined yet?

We usually call it for around 7 pm, so you could probably make it, even if you're a little late.  But it will also depend on when I can get reservations for a large group.

So far, Rathskeller is the clear frontrunner.  Any other suggestions?  I'll probably be calling this weekend to see what I can get.

Barring disaster, we should be in and checked in by then.  Room for a relative lurker?

Depends if it is a lurker above or lurker below, of course.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I'm a "relative lurker."  I don't lurk above or below; I show up at holidays and lurk.

Based on popular vote (and the lack of any real competition suggested), I've made reservations at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 14 at --

The Rathskeller
401 E. Michigan St.
Indianapolis, IN 46204

For those who haven't been there, it is a bit of a hike from the convention center.  Take a cab, or make sure you've got time to walk.  Ask for the Acaeum dinner.

With our number, we'll be in one of their smaller rooms, but there may be others in there with us.  If we get bigger (in number, not girth), we may have the room to ourselves.  If not, try to be nice to the townies.

If anyone hasn't responded and can make it, post here.  I need to give quasi-final numbers to them a week in advance.

I'm bringing a friend to dinner... he's not that big of a collector, but I told him to come anyway...  :)

Anybody ever consider inviting Ghul (Jeff Talanian), and buying him dinner?

Maybe in exchange for 1 of everything? ;>

This was a very kind sentiment, Frank, and much appreciated. Bracton has been kind enough to offer me dinner that night, but I'm afraid I had to decline; finances are not going to permit me to attend Gen Con. It's a big pond, that Gen Con, and I'm a little fish. It's very nice to see my game nominated for three ENnies this year, and if the stars are just right I may try to fly in for the awards ceremony, but presently it's not feasible. I wish you much fun and gaming and camaraderie, Frank, and save that golden voice for the auctions and DMing! My best to Tim, too.

Kind regards,
Jeff T.

Please add one for me. Same friend that came with me last year will be joining us again.

Thanks Bracton!

That's 21, a worthy crowd.  I need to give the Rathskeller final numbers in about 10 days, so there's still time to add more to the reservation.  Post here if you haven't responded and can make it.
