It's been a long time, but I do remember DL, Ravenloft modules for pennies, and a handful of "oldies," like later prints of the S-series.

And there was a bookstore in a mall in Bessemer, Alabama, that cleared out their TSR stock in the 1983-84 school year, which was my sophomore year at Birmingham-Southern College.
I bought multiple copies of Greyhawk, Eldritch Wizardry, and GDG&H.
That's also the only time I've bought a copy of Swords & Spells in a brick&mortar store.

If any of you are in Huntsville, there are two local stores worth stopping by.

One is called the Booklegger, at the corner of Holmes Ave and Jordan Lane.  It has a huge selection of hardback used books, and has a small (couple of dozen) selection of RPG material.  Occasionally you'll find a gem.  It's a fun bookstore to browse.

There's also a comic shop on South Memorial Parkway called "The Deep."  Huge selection of comics, and they also get used 1E material from time-to-time.  I recently bought a copy of Deities & Demigods (with Cthulhu) for $5, and they had a 3rd-print PHB today (with the "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons) centered on the top-front ... as it should be, IMHO :)

Anyway, all of that's slightly off-topic, but worth your while if you're in the area.
