Coincidentally, I was researching Dragon magazines  I started picking up old issues on ebay and walking down memory lane... then curiousity got me and I started wondering how popular D&D was (defined by Dragon distrubution) back in the day... When I found The Acaeum my question was answered... then I learned there was a whole lot more D&D history before TD # 33, lol... and a whole lot more rpg goodness that didn't come from Wisconsin.

As a slight aside, PDFs look great on the iPad

I found it while researching d&d books that I was buying at library sales in the NE in 2004/5.  I doubt I ever registered for the forums back then.  I started a collection that grew to a couple of boxes before we moved south and promptly forgot about Acaeum until I started collecting again a couple of years later.  I didn't realize the old collection was as much as a couple of boxes until I recently found them in a storage unit.  Back then I was just assembling play copies and taking anything rare to shows or selling them online.  Consequently, there was nothing in the two boxes that am keeping.  I took some of it to local conventions and sold or listed the rest online.  I think the only thing anyone here would have cared about was a s/w expert box set.  I was hoping I would have a nice "fun finds' story, but no luck!  

However, thanks to the Acaeum and members here, the collection is now more interesting.
