What is the point in the Classified Forum here?

I wrote a cranky response and then deleted it, lol.  The substance of it was that you clearly knew where to buy one and were willing to pay a high price, so the odds of doing the work to track down a copy and then finding you already bought one were high.  I think if you ask for something rarer, you will get more responses.  I don't think anyone intended to ignore your request, but you certainly knew how to acquire what you wanted if you were willing to spend up to $50 for one.  (from your previous post).  

Ultimately, there was no reason to be cranky because you are enjoying your collection and found "the right place" to get info and access as your collection and needs mature.  Hence the deleted response.  Welcome to the forums, btw.  I am quite pleased but not at all surprised that you found what you wanted on Ebay.

Bold in emphasis. People cannot respond to Classifieds posts. Only the person who started the thread can reply. That is forum rules. If you want a response, the only way to get one is via PM which can be emailed, I believe.

I have an extra third print, and maybe second, but they are in what I consider "good" condition. Used somewhat, showing some shelf wear, etc. Just not anywhere near excellent or really even very good.

For whatever reason, getting a third in excellent shape is really tough.


And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Since this is a forum for collectors sometimes there are items you want that people don't want to part with.

While I've had a handful of non-replies to classifieds, I've also had A LOT of positive transactions.
In fact, I've never had a bad transaction via classifieds or pm.

Like somebody said above, the golden rule is your best bet!
