Hey Tim,

Can't make it to Gen Con either but I'd be interested in one of the pre-pubs if you have any left after the Con.

Most likely you won't, but still have to try. :)

Best regards,
Ronald

Hi Tim,

I will not be attending GenCon, but would also be interested in one of the 50 pre-pubs in case that any are left over.

Thank you.

Tim,

If possible, I would love to be added to the waiting list for the pre-pub.

All my best,

Paul

Is Eldritch Enterprises planning to publish for an existing game system, or for a new game system?

Heya. Our current plans are to support Old School gaming in generic form (non-OGL). We are considering downloadable PDFs specific to a wide array of game systems, but nothing's firmed up yet.

We intend to add our voices to the ever-growing groundswell of Old School products & publishers. There's a lot of really good stuff out there. otoh we have some new ideas to add to the mix.

We have no plans to create a new game system, clone or otherwise. Our best wishes go to Joseph Goodman, whose DCC RPG appears to be the newest entry in the field. That said, we do hope to reissue certain vintage game systems, beginning with Jim Ward's Metamorphosis Alpha. One of the early releases in that line may be the original deck plans of the Starship Warden, circa 1975 but updated to reflect 35 years of RPG history.

EE has been charging along at a snail's pace and will continue to do so for some time. But there's a lot in the works; stay tuned.

Awesome.  I can think of very little that I would consider to be a "slam dunk" opening product than the deck plans for the Starship Warden.  :bball:

Hi Tim -

Put me down for the last slot. I'm in Chicago for the summer, and was planning to make a day visit to Gencon to see what it's all about. I'll arrange it so I visit on the day of the EE game; just give me some advance notice which day it will be.

Looking forward to meeting (and gaming with) some Acaeum stalwarts!

Regards

Mike

Hopefully, Eldritch Enterprises will publish items that go beyond the convention prestige item level.  $50 is pretty steep for a module.  Collectors who want to support Eldritch Enterprises by essentially subscribing to the line  have to start with an incomplete collection and recognize that it's going to stay incomplete.

The $50 price is for one of the Pre-Pub copies of the adventure. I don't believe the normal price for it will be anywhere near that (but I could be mistaken). There are all kinds of short run items like this out in the world.

I'm planning on being there on Sunday and if they have any left, I'll gladly pay the $40 for a signed/numbered/dated copy. There's a lot of experience behind EE and they'll need support just like any other small business out there.

Malc, you seem to be First Alternate (Seat #11).

btw, the print run will almost certainly be 50, as originally stated. The only way that will change is if an avalanche of reservations appears during the next month or so.

EE is reserving 6 copies (2 for Corp. Archives and 1 for each Partner).

I'll be going again this year, but not sure which days. Maybe I'll set my schedule around this game! Please put me down for alternate #2, and I'm interested in any products you're offering.

New Info:

a. EE will keep records of who has each numbered copy of the Prepub. We ask that you inform us of any subsequent change of ownership (though this is not mandatory).

b. Game participants may be asked to sign all participants' copies. (This will make the ten "player copies" even more special.)

c. The print run will almost certainly be 50 copies total, and 27 are now allocated. If sufficient copies remain uncommitted on 01 August, EE may choose to make one additional copy available to each participant and Partner.

d. We hope to be able to accept PayPal in advance of the event; more to come on this. If that doesn't come together in time, payment can be by cash or check, the latter made out to Eldritch Ent. Ltd. You may pay in gemstones if you have a Russian or Burmese passport.

To date...

The following is 'Reservations Made', not a formal commitment. There is no penalty for dropping out, though everyone would really appreciate prompt notice of such...

At this point we have:

Tier 1: Event (Table 1 is full) & Prepub

Seat 1 Stratochamp
Seat 2+3 Blackmoor & SaxonAngel
Seat 4 Invisible Overword
Seat 5 Prufrock
Seat 6+7 Burntwire & Burntware
Seat 8 Yaya
Seat 9 Bracton
Seat 10 MDR003
.
.
Tier 2: Event Alternates (Prepub reserved)
Note: Given enough interest, Tim may schedule a second slot; stay tuned

A1 Lawrenson
A2 Ligmancer
.
.
Tier 3: Prepub only
Note: minor mailing costs may apply

Frank please put me in Tier 3.   I will not be attending GenCon this year but would like to purchase a copy of the pre-pub.

Thank you;
