Here's a picture of Mr. Roslof taken by Jim shortly after he started working there in the very early '80s.

That is a great photo. It is a picture of a man who lives and dreams. I have a photo of my father sitting out in the sun at my sister's place, raising his hat in greeting. It was taken a year before he passed away but it is how I always will remember him.

I never met Mr. Roslof, but looking at that photo I wish I had.

I know what you mean. It's like we're living in the final chapters of The Lord of the Rings, where everyone going to the West & Sam is left behind. This past decade has been like a last hurrah, where they came out of retirement for a few more nostalgia conventions, only to disappear forever. Guess that makes us the shipbuilders of the Grey Havens.
