I think you meant Rrrr...

And what better to back that photo up with, but a photo of the types of kids that got to drool over that pic...

I have this theory, just like people and their dogs, people gravitated towards characters that looked like them. I see a dwarf fighter, human cleric, DM (maybe working an NPC halfling thief), human magic-user (making the V sign) and half-elf ranger.

And one of my fav ads...

Ohh...my eyes!!!

I got a few friends together to try to start up a D&D Club in high school... and I almost convinced one of the Dominican priests to sponsor our club, but he was told no by one of his superiors... :(

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

I was a member of my (public) middle school's last period D&D club, until the books were banned. I, uh, was partly responsible for that happening... The most obsessive member of our club wouldn't stop trying to show me something in his PHB during Earth Science class. It was a sunny Spring afternoon, and the windows were open. I was trying to study (teacher was out for a bathroom break or some such) and had had quite enough, so I unwisely "solved" the problem by grabbing the book out of his hand and defenestrating it. Justifiably incensed, and with the teacher elsewhere, Jimmy decided to climb out of the window to retrieve his property. Needless to say, the teacher walked back in as he was climbing back into the classroom. There was a special announcement over the P.A. that afternoon.. Sigh.
