Thanks for the spot - just watched that section at 4OD.  I think it came across OK - considering that these kind if programmes tend to be a bit sarky.  I liked that bit where he smells the book, because it is true, the old books do have a distinctive smell; "the smell of geek".  

Can someone post a working link to the feature?

To be fair, most of the other segments I've dipped into also used old footage to show the toy at its most popular.  Modern footage still shows a 1E PHB being sniffed.... aaah the smell of geek!

It was a great programme; very entertaining. A good dollup of nostalgia for everyone. I was one of those geeks who could do the Rubik's cube, and I bet I'm not the only one here, but not one of those who could do it in a minute. I was more interested in D&D at the time, than competition Rubik's cube twisting.

So....

Was the ranking 'skewed' by the online community? There is no doubt that D&D should be there, but should it have been placed so highly?

Youtube will block US viewers from viewing stuff shown on Channel 4, at Channel 4's request?! Really?

And yet they'll rip their own counry's film and TV industry to shreds broadcasting their films and programs without permission?
