Common phrases cannot really be used as trademarks, as I understand it. After all, you could be describing how spectacular it is, rather than the size. I guess if you spelled it weirdly, or trademarked the "concept" of a super module then that would be something else... but one could always use "megamodule" or "campaign sourcebook" or any of a variety of other words to get around it.

Those who can, don't. Those who should not, do.

I have to say, Bill, I'm getting interested in seeing this module.

I am very interested in seeing it. I am always hesitant to see a module based on a classic, but if is done well it will be great. My friend has been thinking of running B1 for me under OSRIC, but I might buy him this module to use instead.

While I can't be the judge if it is done well, I can tell you that feedback fromt he playtest groups (nine of them) has been fantastic. I had no idea what to expect from them, but it seems that the module is fun, if nothing else.
What I do want to stress is that is not a remake or new vision of the original B1. This module is the story of what happened to Roghan and Zelligar after they left Q. There are two unrelated story lines in the module with the primary one focusing on the search for the two lost heroes and possibly some insight on who they were. The second, which is minor (and can be left out entirely) is the story of the City of Shard. This story line is connected to the sub story in the C1 Circle of Fire module (the City of Ascend).
I don't want to make a big deal about that, though. This is the story (my version) of what happened to Z and R.
Is it well done - you will have to be the judge of that. I hope it meets your expectations, because with the original B1's popularity and legacy, there are some big shoes to fill.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Crap....I'm going to have to sleep in my car in order to afford everything for sale at NTRPG since I'm not going to have enough money to pay for my hotel room.

Man I hope its not too hot that weekend.

A formal announcement will be coming from Center Stage Miniatures.

In short, a three-part module series will be distributed by CSM. The series is a sequel set to the previous u-series and conceptualized by Matt S at CSM. Sequel may not be a correct description as it is more of a "30 years later..."
Each module is a limited edition product (100 copies with no reprints planned, though a compilation book may be designed after publication of entire set). Each module will be bundled with a set of miniatures. The modules are written and produced by Pacesetter, but distributed exclusively by CSM.

And what is the relationship of all of these to the SOP/CLP?

B1, I1 and TM2 are CLP mods and will go for sale via website as normal. SOP members get first shot starting next Monday (or so). The only module I expect to see go fast is probably B1, but you never know. B1 second prints are in the print cycle already.
