So she graduates on Thursday, fly in early Friday morning and stay for the weekend.. and bring your daughter as her graduation present...

geesh, you gotta learn to make lemonade with lemons !

A FREE trip to NTRPG Con 2012!

Basically, the "cash value" of this prize is $550.00 max.
So far tickets I have purchased at most have cost $400.00 for airfare and 1/2 a room (you'll have to share) is $50.00 a night so $150.00 for 3 nights.

You do not get the cash if you win. If within the 48 states, I'll buy the ticket and pay for the room... if you come from out of the US or from Alaska/Hawaii, then you'll get reimbursed IF you attend the Con in 2012.

So don't think it's some $5.00 investment to win $550.00 :)

You gots to attend the Con !

A ROOM? I thought we were making the winner sleep on a futon in the dealer's room?

Mike, just make sure the sign up for my Saturday night game. They will not need a room. I plan on gaming until dawn. Plus with all the booze floating around the table, most of us are likely to pass out at the table anyway. 8O

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Hi,

I thought if you had a couple of pints in an evening you were considered an alcoholic in the USA :)

Cheers,

A copy of last year's digest sized PoTVQ reprint sells for $157.....there were only 100 copies available, sold at last year's NTRPG Con originally.  Leftovers were sold (and sold out of) later on RPGMarketplace.  This year's (------------) reprint will be (-------------), you might want to be sure you get your copy at NTRPG Con before it becomes a collectible!

(Edited so it will be a suprise, apparently I wasn't supposed to let it out yet...whooops!)

Ok

Not that they'll be any "new" info posted, but I did create a group here a while back:

http://www.meetup.com/ntrpgcon

hoping to get a few more new people to the Con since Meetup sends out emails about new groups in the area...

But, it would help if anyone that uses Meetup would come join the group since I had a spat with the Meetup honcho about our group being a "one time" thing and he/she was going to be watching out membership ... so more numbers might be in our favor :)

besides, I am hoping we'll get some RPG type sponsors to sign up and maybe members can get some discounts/freebies or something at some point.

Unfortunately life was dealt me a bad hand these past 4 months and my plans of hitting Texas this year before my 40th have fallen foul of a damn woman.. Also, I'll have just got back from walking up each of the biggest hills/mountains in England, Scotland and Wales, so a long flight may not be ideal

I'll hopefully make next year, or may just even have a jaunt over the water if dates don't work :)

Once again, good luck with the Con, it's certainly looking to be an event again this year, keep that beer on ice, bbarsh!!!

I had such a great time at last years convention that I didnt see how in the world it could ever be topped.

And then I saw that the game grid had been updated with these two entries:

Chainmail - Marshall Mahurin
The Battle of Five Armies

Empire of the Petal Throne - Steve Winter
The Death of Tlangeshan

Its amazing enough with all the other great games going on but I expect these two will be pretty special.  It's going to be even harder than last year to decide what to sign up for.  8O

Well, I have good news and bad news...

Bad news first: Clyde Caldwell can't make it this year...

Good news:  Bill Webb is coming...

and he was hoping to meet Forum Critic ... so if you are reading this, you need to be here for the Con

He plans on bringing some stuff for us to auction...
