No invites.  Inclusion only requires that you be a registered member of the Acaeum.  So in other words: you're in.

Martin, I'm planning to attend the dinner on Wed night.  Please put me down for 1 seat.  Thanks for the reminder!

Bump!

Only 13 so far?  We're far off our numbers for the preceding years.

Not sure if auction covers Wed. night. If so, I'll be there (even tho' it is at the same place, with lousy food, again).

I have matched sets of GaryCon and NTRPGCon (the best one I've done, by far; ask Blackmoor--he has the DM copy that he won at Texas) numbered 2 of 6, 3 of 6 and 4 of 6 , as well as a single 6 of 6 for NorTex (Onto the Devil's Skillet; GC was titled Return to the Frozen North).

I am certain only that I will auction one set for sure at dinner, one set during Gen. Auction for my charity, and maybe the singleton #6 from NorTex at the dinner. That leaves one matched set. I'll let the auction set the benchmark.

Hi Martin,

given the numbers are a bit lower this time, would it be possible to move it to a more central restaurant at all?

Just asking - if its not, then its not :)

Cheers,
Malc

Maybe.  I will look.  I know some folks would like a change in venue.  The Rathskeller provides a room for us.  There do not seem to be many places that will give us a room.  For right now its the Rathskeller, however if I can look harder for a downtown restaurant.  STay tuned.

We would like to attend (husband and wife), but aren't sure about the timing, as we have another event from 8-11 (so we could go a bit later) at Scotty's Brew House. (They have 2 groups meeting there on Wed, so I'm thinking they either don't charge, or they don't charge much.)

I'll be at the dinner. No guests with me.

It's usually the only grown-up meal I have time for during Gen Con!

Hey Martin, any thoughts on a different location for the dinner?  With only 14 or so, we probably have more flexibility.  There's a Buca di Beppo nearby, if folks prefer a more southern European cuisine.  Or Fogo de Chao, for a chance to load up on the maximum amount of protein possible before the Con?

Greywolf, can you make it?  As Frank suggested, I'm sure we could all use a blessing or two.

Just visited Fogo de Chao website.  They list dinner as $50 per person.  I think that is a little to steep, especially with people on limited budgets in a down economy.

I will continue to check a round.  Please check back with this thread for updates.
