That went for $95! The last several I saw went in the $65 range, though a year ago there were others that went for $75 and $88.

This book is in excellent shape, straight off the shelf. The insides are pristine, there may be some slight shelf wear. The Book is complete with all inserts that are included present.

I didn't realize it was ever sold "off the shelf". Whose shelf are we talking about here? Sounds suspicious...

If I wanted it and had the funds, I would be willing to go beyond $1,250.03 though.

Not in great condition, but I think around $1500 (even $1700) would not be overpaying for that set.

I told the seller I thought the reserve should be in the $700-$750 range, just to throw you guys a bone    

Ok, I'm kidding. I didn't mention any reserve. In fact, I didn't even talk to the seller at all. I just thought the 0 feedback dude bidding pennies apart was odd. I didn't even know you could do that on an auction above a certain price, like $10 or something  Especially when you hit the $1000 range, I thought the bid increments had to be in the multiple dollar range ($5-$10?)

But seriously, I'm just posting these items because previously others have posted stuff I wasn't aware of that I definitely got my interest. Especially when I was new.

Just to chime in, I found this thread very useful when I was staring out... often the seller's other listed items were equally (or more) interesting to me, too.

Once in a while the extra publicity works against me, but on balance I've found (and won) way more items because of posts to this thread, than I think I've lost because of the extra attention...
