When I first noticed this article I was for sure the four fishermen were a group of rednecks from Georgia or Texas. I was surprised to find out I was wrong. :lol:

Not all Texans drive around in big pickup trucks listening to country music. And not everyone here wears "wifebeaters" or flannel shirts with the sleeves ripped off. And we don't all go around shooting guns in the air or yelling "yee-haw watch this ya'll". Just everyone that lives in Ft. Worth.

Am I the only one who has seen David Allan Coe onstage? I first saw him when he was a surprise guest at a Hank Williams III show. Then I saw him at a motorcycle rally. DAC = redneck, and I mean that in a good way. Good show, fun crowd.

Fort Worth isn't redneck. Fort Worth does have the stockyards/cattle drive thingamajig, but it also has money and culture (concert halls, museums, etc.).

Rural Texas is as redneck as any other rural part of the US. Well, a tad more because Texas is in the South. Redneck does not mean racist, but the two do have some overlap. Historically, Texas has some interesting racial footnotes. For example, I didn't know about Juneteenth:

AD&D is not Roll-Master with crits and fumbles. A "1" is just as good as any other miss.

What if I fumble so much that it wraps around and becomes a crit?
