BIN was $8 on these.  Who didn't have $8 for these and started bidding?  I bet at least #16 ends up over that.

I was wrong - they all ended at $2-5.  Good to know - finishing the Polyhedron set I've been working on shouldn't be too costly.

Its a good bet that this is a photocopy.  This seller sold a number of those items that were photocopies of RPGs a while back too.  I think she was claiming that they were editor copies or something because the estate they came from was an RPG designer?  To me, these items have all looked like direct photocopies of published versions of books.

It's a photocopy.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Good catch, I'd forgotten about her. And is that a manilla folder the "Dwarven Glory" is inside?  I wouldn't touch that one.

Now I'm not sure if it is the same seller or not.  Looking back it seems the seller movie-movies was the one selling boxes of "test copies".

BTW, I bought items from both of those sellers without any issues.

It should go for about two grand.  I'll predict $2050.00.

I would guess $2500 with potential of over $3000.  The lot without orange B3 and Rahasia could be resold for over $1000.

No kidding.  Maybe we could afford it if we got about 50 people together and pooled our resources... :D

I'm the current high bidder on it. I emailed the seller to assure him that the people who know what his auction is really worth, know about the auction.  I also warned him NOT to ship to the UK guy who requested permission to bid.  Can you imagine this guy getting screwed by Cougie in addition to not having known what his stuff was worth?  :(

I also see in the Q&A section that some "helpful" person pointed him to the T&T $5,164.68 version.  That was... less than helpful.  I let the seller know that too.

EDIT:
I just heard back from the seller, and I sent him a long email explaining the worth of his collection, and further warning him against Cougie.

SoulCatcher78 wrote:White Box with a $150 BIN

Box looks a little bendy so I'm not sure if it's worth the asking price or not.

It's a 6th printing box that looks beat to shit. Furthermore, even though most boxes are beat up (in various stages) his Men and Magic book is torn (on the right side). He just didn't take care of it, and IMHO, not worth $150.00.

Maybe $100.00 for someone to say that they have a white box...

Somedays you get lucky when folks put down wierd descriptions,  :D

I looked at your purchase again... and again... and again...   :D

Let me know if the actual box is included with your purchase (granted, it's worth more than what you paid for it without the box, but would be a real gem with it...).
