Did the author not just sell a copy of each of these?  Or am I mistaken and they were listed but didn't sell?

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

I have only been collecting for a few years and I have seen about a half-dozen copies of each for sale myself (e-Bay and private).
And these copies are way overpriced IMO; more than double the suggested valuations posted here...

This is a link to a thread regarding these same two books, with links to the last listings....
They both show SOLD when you click on the links now.

Daystar West

They were listed for the same exact prices, but THOSE copies were supposedly sold directly by the author....
These might be the same copies though as the seller has the same e-Bay ID.
Maybe the buyer(s) reneged on the offer, and never sent the funds....
OR: perhaps the seller has several copies of each and is banking on the fact that we can be easily duped/fooled.
As the saying goes: a fool and his money are easily separated.

I wondered the same things as well....more items out there should mean less cost one would think.

Does anyone know if this was a complete set or just the box, as the listing doesn't say? In addition, why didn't this show up in "Rares Currently on eBay" or more importantly in my saved searches on f'ing eBay? I get alerts for woodgrain bingo, dominoes, etc. but not THIS ... FML.

That's a very nice looking box.  The listing says it comes with "books", but no pictures.  I wonder what print this was?  In any case, that really is a great find for someone.

Looks like the seller had wood grain as two words. Maybe that could be the reason?
