I agree with you about him being on his best behavior next year, although, I don't see anyone outside of Al Davis being anywhere dumb or desperate enough to offer a multi-year deal to a 38 year old receiver with a history of being a complete d-bag to the rest of his teammates. I suspect, if Al Davis doesn't come to the rescue, no matter how well he behaves this season that no one is going to come along with an offer of anything more than 1 year contracts(if anything at all) until the day he finally decides to hang it up for good.

Hi,

apparently all the pre-sales are now sold out.

Given that he's playing something like 30 shows that must be a record!

I quite liked Thriller, but the rest of his music just isnt my cup of tea.

Now 2800 ebay results - highest price seems to be £10k for a pair of tickets!

EDIT: over 1000 auctions finished, seem to be about £300 per ticket.

I can...that's east Texas, it's practically Louisiana. Lot's of cracker ass redneck idiots there.

Having said, that, the scam some officers pulled north of Dallas in a small town there many years back was worse. A cop would station himself in a public bathroom off the highway...when a traveling businessman came in to relieve himself, the cop would grab him and arrest him for soliciting gay sex. However, if the man paid a small "fine" of several hundred dollars everything went away, and the frightened but relieved victim would be allowed to drive away. Since most the victims were just passing through, and didn't want to be charged with soliciting gay sex with a police officer as the only witness against them, they paid and went on. Finally a couple years later the two officers involved got busted by the Texas Rangers who pulled a reverse scam on them after being given anonymous tips that this scam was going on. Small town law enforcement is often one step above a security guard at Six Flags :roll:

Tom Lynch from Miskatonic River Press has just posted an announcement on the yog-sothoth web site that Keith "Doc" Herber passed away this morning.
For anybody that does not recognize the name, he was responsible for developing much of the Lovecraft country material for Call of Cthulhu.
Him and his partners had just formed Miskatonic River Press last year to publish Call of Cthulhu material under license from Chaosium.
Their first work "New Tales of the Miskatonic Valley" had just been released with their next release due in April.
He shall be missed...
