Great opening night so far!

We have Steve Winter's Gamma World game going on in front of me with Leadjunkie, Blackmoor, Killjoy, Paul Jaquays and Kyrinn Eis.  Looks very fun, Al says it's great and they are having a ball.....In the same room is Mythmere's S&W game with a full table (a very LOUD full table), and they seem to be having a ball.....Rob Kuntz's game is very, very quiet...not a good sign. They are having a ball in Tim's game....Prufrock, Smarmy, Lucyjoyce, Kingofpain, and others are having a great time. There is right now the biggestg pile of chocolate candy in the universe between Lucyjoyce and Smarmy (I willhave a picture later) and if they survive Tim's game they may not survive the sugar rush.

Bill Barsh is to my left setting up the Pacesetter booth, and Tacojohn just took a break from setting up the Black Blade publishing booth to check in.  The room is filled with Acaeum memebers and the random Knights and Knave fellow ( I just got to meet Red Priest awhile back).

Anyway it's a great beginning to the con and I wish more of you guys were here.....

Keep the updates coming! Since I could not get to the con at least hearing about the highlights is entertaining.
Hope everyone there has a great time!
Hoping I can make it next year.

Got to have some great fun....but got sucked into listening to Rob talk about the old days until 3 am.....3.5 hours of sleep is the result......urgh.....

Tim's game looked like fun. It was Lucyjoyce's first ever live game, and she looked like she was having a ball. Also I heard they escaped all alive and intact.....another classic Tim Kask dungeon!

Saw Jaybird (Jason Braun) as he checked in late last night....he offered booze and I ended up standing him up to take a shower and change clothes....what a sap I am.

Swords and Wizardry must be a damn fun game since I heard so much laughing  coming from that quarter.  Can't wait to play S&W myself tonight (If I have time).

Glad to hear you guys are having such a great time.  I'm already getting excited about going to Origins in a couple weeks and then to Gen Con in August.  Keep up the updates, Mike.   :D

Funny Bill......cause everyone knows Jason doesn't get dressed when he's drinking!  So the joke was on you....or me.....

Behind me in back of the divider, Tim Kask is running a game of Circus Maximus (chariot racing) for Doug, Matt Finch, Dennis and Johnathon Abel.  Sounds like a load of fun judging by the groans and yells and laughter.  Nothing like running over other people and whipping them to death to bring out the joy!

The other games are a bit quiet compared to last night, everyone is still slowly getting into con mode. I have two seminars today (Self Publishing and Stories from Dennis, Rob and Tim) and I have a total of two notecards and about three questions listed!  Greatest seminars EVER!  I'm just going to lead with abusive questtions (So, Bill, it's well known your stuff is crap, what about that?) and hope for controversy.  But no, seriously, Bill's stuff looks great, especially the two latest (Lost Caravan and Vampires' Curse) so buy it all up! (free plug hoping Bill will give me some freebies).

I have some reduced-quality, uncropped photos of the convention here:

The photos are just what I had time to snap as I walked around or sat down.

Updated with cropped photos of the Con around 10PM.  The new photos start with the Cthulhoid-octopoid light sconces in the hallway:

I see some people I think I recognize.

These would be great with captions.

I err toward the side of privacy.  If people want their names in the pictures, then they can ask to have their names added.

I am also lazy and don't want to crop and label every picture.   :D
