Bingo Mars, I was wondering the same thing.

If they are trying to make some big money back quickly to offset some of the enormous outlay, they are going about it the wrong way. They aren't starting off too well pricing the rares at 100 times the typical price.

Actually I don't know.. I don't collect wargame stuff so it doesn't interest me, considering there pricing structure though I would expect at least half of this (at least).. I was more commenting on the fact that stock photo's were used and descrition rather short for a $10k item...

I'm beginning to think the over the top prices are a method to draw people to their website/auctions...I mean, here we are talking about them as they go up. Maybe to draw interest in the more reasonably (?) priced gaming items to come; or perhaps to draw interest in the items for future auctions at Origins or Gen con ("Hey, T&T are auctioning off the nine grand B3 at next year's Gencon!!!"). Despite their high prices T&T are in business to make money; I have to believe they wouldn't have overestimated the market at such a big extent.

Hmmm. To bid or not to bid. Aussie G2 and G3 - but in crap condition. Is it worth having these even in crap condition? Or seeing as I have other versions, should I angle for better copies? What do people think about crap quality rares?

Personally, I only ever bid on something that is in VF or higher, regardless of rarity. My reasoning is that I'll always be on the lookout for a better one, and the money I spent on the trashy ones could have been better spent. Just my 2cp.
