Well Canada had an election last night!!

Conservative majority :)
Separatists' were soundly defeated in Quebec :)
Liberal's were spanked into obscurity :D

All is well in Canada; we should prosper in a stable government, lower taxes and less fighting amongst our politicians

That was really the best result for both countries (USA and Canada).  I was very bothered by some of the positions the New Democratic party there was going to take if they got a majority.  Good show!

Mexico is headed full tilt towards being a third world nation controlled by drug lords and marked with Somalia type warlords and lawlessness. It's really sad what's happened there the last decade.  The resort towns, once off limits to the violence, are not safe at all anymore and tourism (their one way to make money) is dropping daily.

Partisanship for one day, now ending in three....two...one..... :(

Here's a political translator for you:

He said:  "solve problems together"

He actually said:  "do it my way"

He said:  "bi-partisan"

He actually said:  "your party caves in to my party"

He said:  "compromise"

He actually said:  "you compromise by giving in to me"

This is a free service.  No charge for translation.

Don't be an innocent.  Partisanship never left the building.  The political spin started within an hour of the announcement.

For all the idiots out there saying "well how do we know he's dead?"  When a navy SEAL says he's dead, he's dead!

Yeah, right.  That's what they said about the so-called "moon landing."

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor tells TIME. "The bottom line is this: If we had some kind of smoking gun intelligence from waterboarding in 2003, we would have taken out Osama bin Laden in 2003. So this argument just doesn't make a lot of sense."

What is really worrisome is that 90% of the American people and folks worldwide; actually believe statements like that one.

Okay, if I see any dead Navy SEALs, I'll listen closely to what they have to say. However I haven't, at least not on the news recently. I did see someone on the news who really wants to be re-elected.

Sadly, no. That's exactly what's going to happen.

Hey Blackmoor,

Well as a Torontonian living overseas, I was happy enough that the Leafs ended over .500 this year... :)

Best regards,
Ronald
